Awesome video and helps silence the anxiety of embroidery and doing hats. Like you I have lasers (Fiber and CO2), Roland Printers, DTG/DTF equipment, but still considering embroidery and especially hats. Thanks so much for this..

In regards to your lettering changing size, I believe that the bill of your hat is hitting the backside of your needle case. I bend the bills of my hats prior to embroidering. I also use a portable steamer to put things back in shape after embroidering.

Hi Matt, if you are getting distortion in your design it is almost always because the push-pull compensation is wrong in the digitising . the stitching needs to push towards the crown of the hat and out from the center of the design.

@@laserengravingwithmatt There is a guy on youtube named John Deer who really knows alot about embroidery digitising. he has some good info on troubleshooting problems. search for "John deer's embroidery" and you will find his channel.
