Great video. Shows me a great deal of info about Embrilliance. I have downloaded the E Basic, just to get an idea of this program works. Seems similar to my Cricut. Going to try it out the way you’ve shown it. I’m a quilter mostly so, I don’t have a lot of experience with my embroidery machine. I buy these things and then they sit. Lately I have gotten interested in it again and have been trying a few things. I like the results. Thanks for the help

Thanks a bunch for this video. Unfortunately, I was attempting to use Free Embrillance before watching this. Now I am stuck....how do I pull the right side down with the options showing all of the fonts?? I have tried everything. I even moved downloaded fonts to Embrillance but can't see them. Every lil bit helps me....I am getting really good with my PE800 but feel limited and want to try Embrillance. Thanks a bunch!!

This is so helpful! Thank you so much. I do have a question, in the Express version, can you not resize fonts? I downloaded Express but when I try to resize using the corners or the Height and Width in the upper left corner, it will not let me. 😏

You don't really want to significantly resize the fonts because it will throw off the stitch density. The .bx fonts I purchase typically include several sizes.

If you just want to stitch it out, you can take the file straight from your computer get it on a USB drive and transfer to the embroidery machine. If you want to actually preview the design, yes you need to download some type of software. Regular programs on your computer can't actually "read" the file.

Jennifer, thanks for your videos. I Use an embroidery machine at my local maker space. They have limited software. I'm going to try and brilliance express. Do you also have any suggestions for inexpensive digitizing software or free limited software? I have some designs that my daughter Drew and I would like to try to digitize them myself..

I'd suggest paying someone on Etsy to digitize the designs for you if you don't plan to do very many. I am not very familiar with digitizing software and don't plan to purchase it at this time.

Jennifer I downloaded a design from embroiderydesign.com and was trying to save it in a file but it keeps telling me I don't have an application. So what I did is downloaded the Embrilliance express and it read my design but now I cant save it on a thumb drive. did I do something wrong? Sorry this is so weird for me. Don't really want to pay for a design space right now if I'm just downloading different designs. I just got my PE800

Hello!! I watched lots of your videos and they very helpful and inspiring!!! But I’m still having problems withe Embrilliance program. I have a MacBook Pro and the only designs that it allows me to save are the purchased fonts. None of the free designs I’ve downloaded have come zip, they open automatically in the Embrilliance program and when I go to save it says “ the design page contains elements that are not licensed for saving. They may be “Demo” designs. I would really love your advise on this. Thank you so much!!! Keep up with the great tutorial videos as they are very helpful!!!

Did one on a shirt pocket here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/buCddLCf1quoaWw.html Typically a monogram font will have alphabets for left, center, and right positions.

Question: I have the Embrilliance Express and going to upgrade to Essentials. I wanted to know when I upgrade, will the Essentials override the Express software? Also, I see 3 fonts, indivisual letters, how do I use those?
