Time for another update on our journey with Embryo Adoption #2!
From repeating labs and a Saline Sonohysterogram, to finding out one of the initial lab results that gave us peace to not pursue IVF and having biological children has changed... there's a lot of "infertility" emotions and mind games that have been going on. Tune in until the end to hear how I've been processing it all and what the future holds for us with our Embryo Babies that are waiting for us!

Hormonal birth control can artificially lower AMH. So can a vitamin D deficiency! AMH can also vary up to 30% at any time just due to normal fluctuations. Labs can also give varied results too! I’m glad it worked out for you and you’re so happy.

Look up Mark Sklars theory on what AMH actually measures. His theory is that it’s not indicative of egg reserve, because if that was the case then it could NEVER ever go up. His theory is that it’s the measure of the eggs that are on the conveyor belt ready to be matured. Which is why many many women raise their AMH because they help their body get more eggs ready to mature. It’s not a static diagnosis, it can change and it’s possible to improve it.

I was born with an half full egg basket at 35 I hit full blown menopause.

Hormones including insulin and others can cause AMH to rise and fall. Mine is an 8 because I have PCOS. It’s not the best marker of who has what number of eggs
