This is so touching to watch. My grandma passed away 13 years ago. She was also a very good cook. Christmas was always the best when she was still alive. She makes good embotido too and her other dishes are so good. She grew up in Bulacan. And what's weird is tht we call her "Mommy Lu" 😭 your mom reminds me of her. I miss her and her cooking.

My mom used to cook this a lot when she still could. One of her legs got amputated because of diabetes and can no longer cook. I am a cook myself but I still miss her cooking. It has a different taste if a mother cooks.

Embutido is my favorite Christmas dish which I would always request for them to make back then.
