I like the fact that Mr. Poteet addressed the issue of the salt flats deteriorating. Lawmakers in Utah seemingly don't care.

I have always had a soft spot for Studebakers. That wagon is beautiful! There is a guy here in town where I live he has a '64 Commander Station Wagon. It is blue, but not the Tiel blue like the Study on this show. Great car!

I remember we happened to be on vacation one year to PCB, we didn't know about the car cruise and we were seeing cars everywhere. We thought it was normal! 😅 This is an awesome show 👍

The older I get the less I like muscle cars and hot rods . Give me a curvy four door with period hubcaps

I love hotrods, restomods, and all kinds of different types of custom cars. But I don't like it when someone takes an all original survivor that is in perfect driving condition and hacks it up to customize it. I know it's easier to customize something that is in good shape. But we're at the point where there aren't enough stock original cars left. We need to preserve our automotive history. If you want to customize a car. Start with something that is too far gone to restore. And any usable parts you don't want or need. Remove them carefully and let them be used to restore another car. Just because you don't want to use an original part, doesn't mean it's scrap. There's always somebody looking for OEM parts with the proper date code. Heck, you might be able to make enough money from the parts you don't want to buy the ones you do. And one more thing. If you see or hear of a classic car being sold for scrap. Find a way to keep it out of the scrap yard. Talk to the people who own it. They might just want somebody to take it. If not, get a few friends together to buy it. We need to save every classic car we can. Because people who don't love classic cars don't care.

Well said. I kept my 1973 Plymouth Duster all original, it's nothing special just a 225 slant six car has quite a few options but is not what I would call a loaded car. Now my 56 Chevy BelAir hardtop that I'm building I'm putting a 350 with 3 deuces and a turbo 350 automatic in it. But when my dad got it in 1976 it had been raced since 1966 it had a 396 with 3 deuces and a 4 speed with 4.11 rear gears.
