I mean , im not positive , but I'm pretty sure that turning them off won't matter. I think i read that they can send signals right through the atmosphere , almost like ham radios do. They bounce signals off of the atmosphere and BOOM!!!!! I would just go to your settings and turn off emergency alerts. Look on KZfaq how to do that. It’ll be ok I promise ! If anything happens at least be nice to mom and dad alright?

I think the signal can automatically turn it on same with smart tvs and washing machines though the latter is hard for to unplug the way it’s installed so i’m leaving the house for the day also unplugging wifi and putting my phone in a faraday cage with me in the back of my suv if I was gonna stay home I’d put my laptop in a microwave and I guess unplug that too in case it turns on by itself and cooks the computer which will probably turn on by itself
