I used to grow African violets a long time ago, now you've got me wanting to grow them again. I've never seen a trailing violet. I really like the way they look. Good advice.

Hi there desr flower lady pam,,oh my yes do try,i have never owned an African violet,my mum has for years, i really do love to try and save poorly plants though,yes bless it,,if there is a wee bit of life thrn yep repot,,but you could still purchase a new one if you like,,you are a special plant lady, oh hello dear roosters,and ladies too.always wonderful to here you too.xxxlovely video, i do hsve repotting to do 2 are my indoor geranium s,hmmm,oh yum yum yum,bread,wel, donexxxx

I have 3 African violets that belonged to my grandmother. They are probably 65 yrs old and going strong.

Hi Pam! This is why I don’t have many indoor plants…they get neglected especially in the spring & summer & trying to keep them watered indoors can get messy.

Hi Pam, please don’t ever worry doing anything that you feel might be boring haha! We enjoy watching …. Hey it’s part of gardening when you have to clean ~up a poor neglected plant 😂 another thing I have never heard of a trailing African Violet I’m sure they are beautiful. I’m so happy that you’re trying to save them. I was thinking I would give it a try. Thank you for sharing and showing us . I was given two trailing violets many years ago. I loved how they bloomed, seemed like, all the time. I thought they were much easier to take care of than the regular ones. I was always giving starts to friends. Sadly, I lost them all after at least 30 years. I liked putting them in African violet pots, that seemed to give them the correct amount of water. I also fertilized them once a week with a fertilizer especially formulated for African violets. Don't beat yourself up over mistreating your flowers, we all get sidetracked sometimes.

What about wick watering? I hear it’s the best method to water A.V’s, especially if you’ve got a busy lifestyle.

I love African Violets - reminds me a a special Aunt! However, I’ve never had a trailing African Violet - so I’ll be looking for one of those. I have some rooting in water presently - maybe I’ll pot them up today! 🌸

I checked my email, I saw gardening newsletter, one subject was about African Violet, why my Plant damaged? The newsletter said: never touch the African Violet leaves, if you do, you will damage the plant, they are very sensitive, you have to use tools to pot them and more. ❤ I was thinking about you.
