Hi, Joey. Your vet tech friend from New York here. It really disturbs me that the first vet “supposedly” ran all of these tests and took blood and found nothing and did an x-ray and they didn’t see the pus coming out of his belly?!?!?! The lethargy that was obvious should have been a massive clue to them that they should’ve kept him there. I hope you follow up with that first vet and let them know about the balls that they dropped when you know what’s wrong with Fox. I’m so sorry you’re going through this I have a lump in my throat for you and for him.

Oh poor little guy :( I hope he'll get better soon! Before you mentioned that they had actually found something in his belly, I was starting to think that maybe he was having a poor reaction to his vaccines. When my cat got his rabies vaccine (he's an indoor cat but goes out a lot in a harness) he almost died. Nothing showed up in the tests for him either and he just kept getting more and more lethargic, all floppy and just not reacting, stopped eating and drinking. After some days going back and forth between home and the vets, they put him on an IV to get intense hydration, and he finally perked up. The whole thing went on for a week and the vets were really confused as nothing was seemingly wrong with him. Oh, and I'm completely for vaccines, just to make that clear! My cat will keep getting all his other needed shots as usual! But something to keep an eye on, as those side effects might be rare but they can be dangerous if they do hit. If my cat had been an outdoor cat (I don't think cats should ever be out free roaming) and we had just let him out the next day, we would've lost him. Hopefully this little Fox can get back to his pack soon

Thank God you took him to a different vet. This happened to my puppy and they said it wasn’t parvo but she had all the symptoms, she was even throwing up and had bloody diarrhea and ended up not being able to walk, and I’ve had dogs who had parvo before. Anyway I ended up getting the IV stuff and nausea medicine from the vet, used all that like clockwork and when she was okay enough to drink again I only gave her pedialyte, not water. I could’ve kept her there but it was cheaper for me to do it myself and she’s still with me today. She’ll be 3 this year. The IV was the main reason she’s alive so I’m glad they’re doing that. Also, for anyone who has a sick dog like this, highly recommend you to get Paxxin and Vibactra bc that helped a lot too and also saved my cat :))

I had a pomeranian puppy (it's was my grandmas) and we got it early because the mom had quit feeding her and she was so tiny. I didn't realize that those breed of dogs typically have issues with low blood sugar. I tried everything to save her even trying bottle feeding her and unfortunately it was to late and I wasn't well informed by the breeder about issues like this. I believe if I had been informed earlier I could have saved her. I have gone through something similar with my husky puppy (now 9 months) twice. He seems so sick, lethargic, out of it, like he’s terribly ill- I spent $600 each time at the vet figuring out what was wrong and he just had an upset stomach each time 🙃

Thank you for going for a second opinion because that little guy isn't doing good at all. Maybe since the vet found some puss on his belly he might have an infection of some kind. And hopefully antibiotics will help him and he will start feeling better soon. Joey you are a very awesome person and have a beautiful soul and I'm thankful that these puppies were brought into your life at the right time. Never know what would have happened to these puppies if they didn't get help from you. Peace and love to you and your family 💜❤💜❤💜❤

The fact that no one at that other vet told you to remove that pressure bandage stresses me the hell out! His paw was so swollen!
