nahh, well it depends. notice how when she fall’s, she rolls back up after. when practicing ,you are taught how to dive for a ball so it doesn’t hurt when you hit the floor. and we have knee pads on top of it. but yeah! you will get bruises most of the time! 😂

It’s not only that she gets the ball up, she also puts it in such a good location for her setter

any half decent libero can get the ball up... a good libero will somehow turn the craziest saves into a pass straight to the setter's spot

Fr she is so good as a libero her footwork and reaction speed is impeccable. Not to mention placement of the digs... perfection

You are right, digs are great, but accuracy of passing to the setter is from another world. Hope she will play in pro league soon.

Those dolphin dives and pancakes are reminiscent of the great Morgan Hentz. Plus she has instincts that can't be taught. I'm betting this libero will go far no matter where she ends up. Definitely a must-watch for the sport of competitive volleyball.

Mostly mental, every ball is important

Going off the mental note from above, go after every ball even when you think you can't get it. Never give up a pursuit. Also, don't worry about getting the ball exactly to your setter. Just get the ball up and somewhere within or around the 10ft line (or 3 meter line). If that's too difficult, I suggest working on getting the ball up in the middle of the court near the donut (somewhere around the middle near the 10ft line). Don't stress if the ball doesn't go right to your setter. Have a mindset where you want to give the best ball to your setter. All of these tips are from personal experience and from Victoria Garrick!
