Ian wright would never suggest dropping Harry Kane but somehow he can get up there and say that Saka needs to be a fullback. The backslash online was deserved and I’m glad Arsenal fans don’t let things slide, regardless of the messenger.

Damn right. That suggestion was just too crazy and half the fanbase will always defend ian wright. It’s especially sensitive bc saka in always getting dumped on by every media outlet and by every fanbase. Understandable that Arsenal fans lash out if Saka is the subject.

Re england. Foden is much more vulnerable to getting dropped than saka. Foden at lw is square peg in round hole and he isnt performing. Atleast saka has done ok on rw

A simplistic view: I have to use Twitter for work - otherwise I'd never go near the place - and you see stuff get RTd into your timeline. I don't seek it out and I don't sit there reading the views of 14 year olds!

I've been giving Tim Stillman the benefit of the doubt for a while, as he seems like a nice chap, but the crap on this podcast confirms my suspicion that he really doesn't have much of a clue - especially when it comes to football beyond Arsenal women.

I love Saka as much as anyone but he's not always perfect. To suggest that he's injured because he hasn't played his best is mad to me. There are plenty of LW options for England so he wouldn't be played if he wasn't fit enough to play well.

I didn't suggest he was injured because he didn't play his best, I said he was injured because he picked up an injury at the end of the season, and barely trained before England's first game.

@@Arseblog He played against Iceland in a friendly 3 weeks ago? Surely he's fit after 3 weeks of training and about 200 minutes of football

@@SueMyChinSouthgate himself mentioned he’s not fully fit to play a 90 after that game so it’s not far fetched to assume his minutes are still being managed. Saka has been one of their best players in the last few games so there’s no need to excuse him.
