Emilie has just been announced for patch 4.8 in Genshin Impact. And based on some clues, we might already know what she does. This is a pre release and prediction video that I think will be pretty accurate, but nothing is confirmed.

Edit: I thought burning only uses pyro unit's EM, I was wrong With Emilie's kit, she most likely works with any Pyro character that is not Hu Tao, who is vape reliant. Her kit seems to be combination of Chiori and Fischl, with more damage potential than Fischl of course. Perhaps ICD limited characters like Yoimiya and Arlecchino can make a great use of her.

The damage depends on the character that makes the reaction. To keep the reaction you need constant dendro. So I tried with amber with low em and a Thoma full em. The start reaction was better with Thoma, after a while both were the same. If you build Emilie with reverie and she is an off field character, then EM should be the best stat.

I'll just use my Arlecchino with her. Since Father is already amazing at burning everything in sight... Including herself and everyone else if there is a blade of grass nearby... As much as I want Emilie to be good, to me it doesn't matter. Was planning on pulling for her ever since she was first name-dropped (as long as she was a medium/tall female, since I don't play male or child characters on my main). It will be fun if she does turn out to make a burning meta like Chevruse made with overload.

Until we get better of field pyro, she's pretty much glued to wrio/ganyu. Who already have nahida, so she's probably only a minor upgrade at best.
