Not sure cuz she kills it in every role, but I just watched looper again and she's amazing.. so many great actors but she was the highlight for me

Sunshine Cleaning was so good, as was Edge Of Tomorrow - and I not only think The Adjustment Bureau is criminally underrated but that's probably the one I've rewatched the most. Also the first time I ever saw her was in Dan In Real Life (another film undeservedly overlooked); I could not believe she wasn't American (and I'm American myself)

she’s such a great storyteller. not only in her acting but also in her daily life. like. when she’s telling an anecdote she’s so quick witted and with perfect timing, her reactions are on point. and when she’s delivering a heartfelt speech/message she’s so earnest that it captivates you. she deserves the world and definitely that oscar ❤

I wish Emily all the luck at the Oscars. She definitely more than deserves it. She was incredible as Kitty Oppenheimer, her interrogation scene was a masterclass in acting, so nuanced! I was simultaneously terrified of her, proud of her and floored by her intelligence as Kitty, while trying not to scream “ you tell him girl!” at the screen in the overcrowded cinema. Edit: I know she didn’t get her Oscar but I still stand by my comment, you go girl

I watched at home and I was definitely shouting"fucking TELL HIM QUEEN." at that point. a lot has been made about this movie's representation of women and reducing Emily's character down to a "distressed housewife" type role, but I was pleasantly surprised at the strength and grit they gave her too, particularly in a time that perhaps wasn't so friendly toward strong minded women. with all this blah blah about wanting complex female characters, I was surprised at the reception to her character. as a former horse girl, though, she probably should have hired a stunt rider for her horseback scenes. she was holding on for dear life lol

eh? it's 3 hours and 9 seconds. I have a low tolerance for long ass movies but even I didn't mind the length. I also thought it was quite withdrawn from typical Nolaniness, which was at it simple unbearable worst in Tenet lol

John Krasinski a genius? What are you smoking Josh? 😂A genius at what? That man doesn't have an original idea, and is average as heck. He relies on the ideas and contributions of others. A Quiet Place wasn't his story, it was Scott Beck and Bryan Woods's story and script. Krasinski just took their script and added some details. The film was creatively designed and creatively fueled by multiple professionals including the DP, the art director, the creature creator, the sound engineers, and even Emily Blunt too, which she'd never say herself but he did in an interview where he talked about her ideas being important to the preproduction. Also, why is Krasinski often brought up in these kind of Emily Blunt interviews? Isn't this an interview about Blunt's career? Why are you asking her irrelevant nonsense about Krasinski and what he does or doesn't do at home, as if this was some celeb tabloid? Does he need to be continuously mentioned and riding her coattails? Is it not enough that he went up to her on stage when she won an award making her moment about him, or that he photobombed her Oppenheimer cast pics, or that he tags along to her events and uses the attention for self-promotion, and in his presenting at one of her award shows acted like he's there because he's a movie fan, not the obvious only reason he was there being that he's married to nominee Emily Blunt. Or all the other stuff he's done and said of her for attention in the past? If I wanted to hear about Krasinski more, which I don't, I'd go to a Krasinski video. Tired of that obnoxious man permeating everything, even his wife's interviews and events. At least she stopped taking him to her most recent award show appearances like BAFTA and SAG. Hopefully it's the same for the Oscars. Apart from the Krasinski thorn of it, good interview, like the previous one you did with her which was also good.
