He stays back in Paris JUST FOR HER. And then this idiot girl gives him logic about how they have an expiration date etc and ignores everything he says about wanting to make it work. He doesn't get back with his girlfriend yet. Then this idiot girl flirts with another guy (Matthieu Cadeau) and then straight up start dating and flaunting another guy (Alfie) in his face. When he tries to talk to her she avoids it. Then his ex-girlfriends mom manipulates him into coming to their house so something can be rekindled with her daughter. He sees Emily get serious with another guy. He is lonely, he's going through the pressures of being an entrepreneur, his girlfriend is constantly trying to get back with him. Hello? Wouldn't ANYONE just get back with soemone who they care for and wants to make it work with them than someone who is just confused and fucking around? He has REALLY tried and I don't get the hate he gets. I wish in the next season they just let him stick up for himself more rather than be a pretty accessory to the show.

I just finished watching this show and yes I love this couple so much but I hate that his cheating on Camille like if you don’t love her why not break up with her? I feel like he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings by breaking up with her but he’s doing worse by cheating. I also feel like the writers are going to mess Camille’s character on season 2 to justify the cheating part they are definitely going to do something.

The good news about rooting for these two is that they’re completely fictional. You can watch shows like dexter and root for a serial killer because he’s not real but you draw the line at not real cheating. It’s a story, it’s a trope, it’s a fantasy. If you have moral problems with it you need to relax. There’s so much bad in the world you should be able to let go and watch a show without moral dilemma
