Hugs to you and you're not alone. Been through that myself. Hope you are able to get some sleep (I struggled a bit with that). But take the time you need and this community is very kind and a safe space so if you are unable to join live until you are out that's ok too. Just know we will all be here to support and encourage you if you ever need it during the day. Good luck and I hope you start feeling better soon.

But i saw your live and put it on my phone and just tried to focus on your voice instead of voices in my head, and i was able to fall asleep. I wonder if he took a timeout because he was about to flip out and brought the coffee back as a prop to try to disguise why he bolted. Bleh, not sure if that helps him if true. Either he can barely control his anger and bolted, or he needed coffee and walks in and out like he owns the place. He's got to be a complete nightmare client for these lawyers who no doubt endured a lengthy hissy fit even though they tried to tell him they really need to prepare for Friday.
@robyn_rainbow
@robyn_rainbow 19 күн бұрын
@@silikon2 Yeah even if that were the case - surely he would know you can't just leave court when you want to. I can't imagine the privilege it takes to think you could just do that! And yeah I agree.. he would be a terrible client. I can't imagine agreeing to represent him (if I was a lawyer, obviously). I guess lawyers are used to maybe not liking clients.. they have more distance than I would.

@@robyn_rainbow It is privilege. Why ever he wanted to go out, he couldn't wait the few seconds for his lawyer to ask the court? I mean, he's in his mid 60s, it wouldn't be unprecedented if he had to go to the restroom immediately. I don't believe the court would refuse the request. Hopefully for his sake, his lawyers figure this out.

Baldwin left to use the restroom - it was confirmed by Lauren Matthias from Hidden True Crime, who was in the corridor and saw him go straight to the restrooms and then depart and go straight back to the courtroom. The coffee cup was handed to him (not sure by whom) as he was returning to the court room. He was not told by anyone to get back into the court room. Someone else, present in the court when AB exited, confirmed to Lauren Matthias that Alec leant over to speak to someone on his team, presumably to tell them he was going to the restroom, and which I would think was explained to the judge by his team.

Baldwin's behaviour today is a perfect example of someone who has lived a life of privilege, never believing that they owe an explanation to anyone and that they can do what they want because they are more important than everyone else. Yup. He was clearly fuming. If he can't control his behavior on DAY TWO, oh boy. If he can't control his behavior he's way more likely to get convicted and very likely going to waltz in max sentence just as he waltzed out of court today. You can bet he's super angry that the state's team is two women, particularly Kari of course. And if the judge doesn't rule in favor of him on anything, he's going to despise her too. To be clear, I think he thinks EVERYONE's beneath him, but oh I just bet to him women are even lower than that. Misogyny or not, ultimately he's an Amber Heard that just got away with this attitude for 30 years longer. And at least Heard didn't shoot someone with a gun 😂

Here’s the issue with that, though. There’s a difference between blanks and dummy rounds. Blanks are the “pow, poof” rounds, they still contain primer and contents that can be projectiles. Dummy rounds are completely inert. They are for show to look like a real bullet. When Dave Halls called “cold gun,” that means the gun has been cleared and only has dummy rounds. “Cold gun” = dummy rounds = not capable of firing and not capable of causing harm. A gun with blanks is NOT a cold gun, and wouldn’t have been called as such. So AB’s knowledge about the potential injury with blanks STILL doesn’t apply to his actions with what he was told was a completely cold gun, which was supposed to contain inert bullets not capable of firing and causing harm. And if his attorneys know what they’re doing, they will argue this point.

Marissa Pompell came across as actively against Alec Baldwin and his defense team. She even smirked at times. Too many "I do not recall" gave me Colin Albert vibes. I also found it strange that when asked if seeing an interview would help her remember and she adamantly said no. Now come on... we've all said that we don't remember ever seeing a show or movie and then 10 minutes in were like "Oh, Yeah! I did see this!" The prosecution needs to ease up or they're just going to make the jury hate them. The annoying Kari needs to understand that every time she continues to interrupt defense she's actually turning the jury against her. It not only looks like she's hiding something, but wasting the jury’s time.
