I LOVED Cyprus. There were very few Americans there, as we never met any others. But it's a tourist friendly place without being touristy if that makes any sense at all....

This is beautiful! I love the beginning song! That one gets stuck in my head so easily! We’re a vlogging family of 10, and we’re just in the midst of making plans to head to Europe! Love that you guys are taking your kids out new places, instead of waiting until retirement. Memories need to be made now! However you choose to make them.❤️

The pool would be too cold for me at this time of year. We have a house in Cyprus and the pool is like a bath temperature in the summer, but then you have to contend with regular temperatures of 35/40+ in July and August which is just too hot. Cyprus is best in May/June and September/October. Looking forward to returning!

Unfortunately the holiday hotels only heat the pools from 1 st may till end of September but it’s a shame glad your all having a good time

I just have to say it... you and Matt have such well behaved, fun, handsome sons! You have such a lovely family! I'm 59 and the very lucky mom of 2 awesome sons. We are so blessed with 6 beautiful grandkids, 3 boys, 3 girls. We take family vacations together and I just love it! I'm dreaming of a family vacation to England, Ireland and Scotland! Have you ever vacationed in the States? There's so many things to see and do here. It's nice to see you all enjoying your time in Cypress! I love your channel! ❤️

@@mrsemilynorris I was born and raised in San Diego, Calif. We moved to Minnesota when our boys were 4 and 7 to give them a better place to grow up. It was such a good move for our family. Oh, I know brothers fuss and argue!😄 It still shows in your videos that they're great boys! 👍 Be well!

Thanks for this Emily. I go to Paphos every year. Stay at Limnaria Gardens. This year I have had to cancel as I have just got a job at an airport So August / September is peak time. I have rebooked it for April next year so this have given me a good idea on the weather :-)

I visited Northern Cyprus a couple of years ago and loved it. Enjoy your vacation. Next time you should visit Antalya, Turkey, a nice vacation spot near the Mediterranean Sea with luxury hotels.

I never did a trip like that with the kids, I feel its going to be so stressful. Therefore I love your holiday Resort videos. Its an encouragement to do so. I ve booked for two days smth local. If everything is going to be ok, I will try it in the summer for a longer period. Enjoy your vacation

So I just stumbled upon your video, and the second I saw the clip of the front of the hotel I was like wait I know that hotel. My dad actually works for the company atlantica, he is the regional manager of the company and yes almost all of the hotels in Cyprus and not only are having problems with finding staff. The inside pool is supposed to be warm during the summer months and the outside pool does get warmer during july and august. Happy that you had a good time, I love Cyprus, its my country, and also amazing choice with going to Paphos with a family, its more family friendly than Ayia Napa, but ayia napa is really beautiful and amazing.

Lovely vlog Emily. I’ve not watched you in a while, busy life, but enjoyed your holiday vlog with 3 kids - it’s hard to keep them all entertained on holiday, looks like it paid off for you. We are finding it harder to keep our 3 happy during holidays. I giggled at 23 degrees- that’s freezing to us, jumper weather in Queensland 😆

@@hansybunnys7748 nice! It's usually the hottest month of the year here, so be careful going out daytime:) I hope you like it! It is the most expensive city in Cyprus, but it is also the most cosmopolitan and lively:) And if you just want the beach (with white sand), visit Agia Napa too

Unheated outdoor pools in Greece and Greek islands is pretty normal. From June onwards it should have really warmed up. I think in a lot of places they don’t open until May. I was in Skiathos at the beginning of May a few years ago and the pool had only just opened so it was quite chilly ( but I was glad I braved it as you did get used to it and it was lovely to get out and dry off in the sun).

Greeks don’t swim until May and don’t swim after August. They find it really strange seeing tourists swimming in what they feel is winter. My children swim in Greece most of the year when we visit family there.

A great informative vlog thanks lovely one ! R u planning to hire a car and see the island , what s the resort like around the hotel …... we love exploring the depths of Greece when we visit . We ve done Rhodes a few years in April … agree with the pool temperatures ! Hoteliers tell us always cold at start of season unless heated pool but better at end of season . Hi Emily wanted to share something with you l was looking were you went cyprus and it felt familiar my dad actually went there a few or awhile back his infront of the pool section as he was greek so we are and he lived in Greece seeing you being there gave me a chance to see what brang my dad to being soo happy. He passed away in 2018 and l miss him soo much.. have a amazing time wish l was there.. it looks soo beautiful but my daughter would be scared of the cats being free there shes quiet sentive with them. 😘❤

great video!!! My mom is from Cyprus.... i have sooooo many relatives there... Will you visit Greece too one day?? If it's possible i would loooooove to meet your family... i mean watching ALL your videos for so many years it's like i know you... i hope you had a great time.. but yeah.. the pool will be very hot at summer time.

I love Cyprus we are going there for the second time next month, we stay at a villa in Protaras which has a pool etc, I would highly recommend trying out staying in a villa nearer the Larnaca end if you decide to go back.
