I'm teaching a few of my friends English. We are all Dominican but I used to live in the states so I'm very fluent. Often they ask me how I learned it so fast and very often I say its thanks to music, rap specifically. And its songs like this that helped me learn the most. The metaphors and word play from em has always been fantastic and I find myself reading over the lyrics of many of his songs and using them to jam out with the boys and see how much they have learned.

That was absolutely insane. I've been a big battle rap fan for like 16 yrs. I decypher most bars the first time i hear it. But this was such an rapid overload of wordplay and punchlines and schemes and syllables that about 2 minutes in i had to rewind every four bars to make sure i didnt miss anything. Not only do I know every detail of Him, I also have a gift from God to be able to see into people's souls, and each person has a distinct soul signature, and Em's soul has never once changed over the many years that I've been watching Him. The most underrated line is when he says “you never buy shit, all you ever cops a plea”. What he means is your broke(as he said in the line before) so you steal, aka you don’t buy shit. After that he said “all you ever cops a plea” the word cop has become a word for “buy” now like “imma cop them shoes” and if you are stealing (not buying shit) you will get arrested by the cops. Now he says “all you ever cops a plea” he means all you ever get is a plea, a plea deal like in court because he was caught he pleaded guilty and took a deal. Best em line of all time.

Those spiral stairs are like the ones from "vertigo". The way he stabs is from "psycho" and the peeping at the windows is from "rear window". All are Alfred Hitchcock films. and the creature that was giving nightmares to Billie is the babadook which is her favorite movie.
