Side A and Side B are so drastically different in my opinion. Side B is a lot darker with heavier beats. Side A was like a colorful picture whereas Side B is like the negative of the same image. (Not negative as in bad but negative as in a negative version of a photo). I love it.

Side B is my favorite Em album since MMLP. Side A had great hooks on some of the tracks but side B is straight up Em having fun and it’s nostalgic af for me. I used to watch reruns of the Alfred Hitchcock Hour and an episode is called Happy Birthday which he might be referencing on Alfred’s Theme. I love the shear depth to so many of his schemes.
