Mad respect to Eminem for giving Bebe Rexha her moment to shine with this song. Those who do not know the hook was originally written by Bebe Rexha who was struggling to find a label and was forced to sell the song. The track found its way to Eminem and he bought the rights and then got Rihanna to headline the hook, although kept Bebe Rexha's vocals in backup.

Bebe Rexha wrote it and hit the high notes perfectly, and was also the one who sang the high notes in the original as well, since Rihanna couldn't replicate them.

If you know and consider the WHOLE story it makes sense & just increases the mad respect I have for Eminem. He is always holding up and helping other artists. What to consider before judging the performance: 1. Bebe actually penned the hook to Monster. She has been writing hit after hit after hit for years and only recently she has been getting the respect of others and able to sing and record her own songs. 2. This performance is at Coachella and like South by Southwest in Texas, it ranks as one of the best avenues for new artists to be recognized especially when they collaborate with established artists. 3. Imagine getting the opportunity to be on stage with Eminem... nerves thru the roof. He helps artists with the same intensity as when he disses an artist.

We all know Bebe wrote the song (not his raps) & sold the demo like she did for many other artists even tho she wanted be known it was her label that made the decision. When Em learned of her wishing to be recognised afterwards he helped her out like here at Coachella so she can perform it for thousands of people. He flew a private yet out for her too he’s done nothing but shown bebe respect.

@@vryza989 I thought the same, until I noticed in the end, that once, he didn't say anything into the mic, and the backtrack played, which sounded VERY different and distorted, as compared to how it was the whole song. Which means he rapped the thing on stage, and it sounded exactly like it did in the studio. Wow.
