You can like the way someone else sounds on a track but to say he rode the beat better shows lack of knowledge on her part bc Em’s voice IS the beat. Tell her to listen to “Stay Wide Awake and then tell me his cadence is off-dead serious, have her listen to that song.

Em rides beats as well as anyone else But he doesn’t ride the beat because he’d rather use the lyrics as drum pattern Em doesn’t ride beats, his lyrics add to it.

@@MambaMone My bad, what I should have said it seems your SO isn't interested that much. She is just there to support you. I'm new to channel and i presume you wanna share(introduce) your love to Em songs. Start from his simple songs to her aboard and once she gets into it do songs like best friend which i believe you would agree is a way more complex song than it sounds. It has so many intricacies and i don't think she ready for that. Just saying if you wanna introduce Em to people you need to take into account that the complex brilliance of many his song puts off causal/beginners. My comment was not to discourage you or hate on you, just somthing i observed and wanted to share constructive critism. If my last comment came out as rood, Apologies. That was not original intent. Hope you do songs on list, i believe she will like them more.

Yeah she lost ALL credibility when she said Em isn’t a good beat rider. He’s literally the best there is. Ask any MC (a real professional that does this for a living like Ludacris said in an interview) and they will tell you that Eminem has the best cadence in the entire hip hop business. It’s literally the reason Dr Dre signed him as he said during Em’s induction into the Hall of Fame “he had the best cadence I ever heard in my life”. I literally turned your channel off after she said that😂
