You forgot to mention that when he said "Ain't nothin' changed but the locks" he's also referring to the hip-hop group The Lox and that ties in with the Jade a kiss line since Jadakiss was a member of that group.

Great breakdown! Also when em said “ain’t nothing changed but the locks, so before i slay dis b!tch i mwah give jade a kiss” hes saying nothing about him has changed but his hair, locks is another term for hair, and jade a kiss, yeah hes referring to hailie, the girl mgk was fawning over, em gonna give her a kiss before slaying MGK, but also, jadakiss was part of a group called the lox; so it was a reference to him and his group It was good and bad, pretty detrimental to have the negative attention of so many people down your back, and then it looks like it made him switch genres, that makes him lose lots of respect in hip hop. See em has lost respect too but for other things but he was never forced to switch genres and he never lost against anyone he beefed with

I'm sad that a lot of people don't mention the brilliance of HOW he turns MGKs lines on him, they only mention that he does. A lot of people also accused MGK of turning Em's lines on him, yet he actually just referenced hits he had, where there's nothing remotely embarassing or revealing about, it just reminds us of how great he actually is. While Eminem, in this simple line with the Treadmill did it perfectly the way it's supposed to be done. MGK said he didn't go to 8 Mile anymore, he last saw it on his Treadmil (8 Miles for distance he ran). And Eminem, which is equally in answer to why he wasn't on 8 Mile, takes it and turns it to make a joke of it. That is a layered win here. Because when Em takes it and makes it pretty funny and cool, he takes away the ammunition: What is his opponent gonna say? "But... but you work out!" lol? At the same time, he says, what you said, he did see 8 Mile, his own movie, mentioning that he has a movie about himself. And the main line that puts everything together, the elephant in the room: "I saw 8 Mile on my super fucking expensive Treadmil, a NordicTrack, with a Built in monitor", so he did see 8 Mile while working out, but not in the way MGK meant it. That is such a brilliant line, taking apart several lines of MGKs bullshit in a handful of words.
