It's so great to see someone over the age of thirty that actually enjoys true Hip-Hop and not just dismiss it as noise. Thank you for having an open mind musically.

You are very welcome! I pride myself on having an open mind- I try VERY hard to not pre-judge stuff. I remember VERY well what it was like being younger and having my 'likes' dismissed out of hand as garbage- it pissed me off then, pisses me off now :) So no fear and thank you so very much for watching, enjoying, and commenting!

+NearlySeniorCitizen Yetagamer I'd enjoy seeing an Everclear reaction. A lot of people don't know them, but they were an Alternative Rock band in the 90s and now they are an independent label and still putting out music. All the songs are about the life of their lead singer Art Alexakis, he organizes the Summerland tour every year which is a full tour of just 90s Rock bands that aren't all that big anymore and let them perform their hits and new material.

Ok, the easiest way to explain this without taking sides that someone was basically told to talk shit about someone else to get them in the headlines, another person reacted by insulting them, then it kept going, getting bigger and bigger until BOTH sides started making it more personal, until eventually someone actually went all out and killed someone, and that was the point where BOTH sides realized that they were just toys to the record companies, that they didn't care what happened to them, as long as they sold records.

And the worst thing is, it mirrored the whole Biggy/Tupac thing, which once again showed that this kind of thing has been going on for a long time.

The story behind this is basically, Eminem and 50 cent was having trouble with this different rapper called Ja rule but he was going to leave it. Him, Doctor Dre and Ja Rule had a meeting and they asked him to stop and leave it alone, but he didn't. In one of Ja Rule's song's he mention's Eminem's daughter and Eminem got really mad so he told 50 cent to do what he wanted. Then there was this big fight between some other rappers but Eminem stayed out of it, then the media kept bringing up his name and spreading rumors about him so he made this song because no matter what happens he's always blamed for it and at some point he blames himself. The guy who get's shot in the music video was actually Eminem's best friend, Proof, but sadly, he got shot about two years after this music video and he died.
@JohnBanana

50 cent was already having beef with Ja. But when 50 joined shady records Eminem wanted him to tone it down but then Ja mentioned Hailie they went full on into a full beef. The rest is true, nice explanation. edit: oops your comment is almost a year old, sorry

Not trying to be mean, but the guy dying was D12 member Bugz not proof. Proof paased away 2 years later after Like Toy Soldiers was released. Like Toy Soldiers was released in 2004 and Proof passed in 2006. Bugz passed in the 90's.

A lot of people thought ja rule was soft but they fail to realie ja rule was connected to a lot of dangerous people. He knew a lot of blood gangs and disciples who were in his label and sometimes it’s better to ignore some One cause it can cost your life

this song is about the diss between a few rappers, 50 cent vs ja rule and eminem vs benzino (a reporter who talked crap about him) and it just got to a point where ja rule had a gang go out and kill one of eminem and 50's friend, some people say Suge Knight was the one who called it out to end it all, but we dont really know. so yea pretty sad

I'm on a marathon of your eminem reactions (leaving a like on them all as I go) I'm really glad i found you. True genuine people are hard to come.by these days. Thank you for your true reaction with true emotions. I'm.loving your reactions and you have definitely earned a sub. If I might only make one criticism, I love your commentary throughout the videos (after all that is THE reaction lol) I will say that when you speak of random things like your skin being itchy in the middle of a rhyme scheme is just slightly triggering 🤣 wasnt on this video but it was on another one of your videos (like I said I'm on a marathon) and as I decided to comment on this video because of your raw emotions you displayed I thought I'd get it out the way now. Other then that, great work. Your wife would be proud to see you have carried on and found your will to not only survive but to be happy in some way.. Despite what life has thrown your way. Much love Mich respect

But, as I explain WHY I talk in each video... am I ever talking TOO MUCH when the ONLY other alternative is to never show the video reaction? Because if I don't talk I have nothing to say- and I will NBEVER upload a video like that. EVER. So which is better? No video, or a video with me talking?
@alexormulea
@alexormulea 6 жыл бұрын
Honestly, I prefer a video with you talking... I don't know if you've ever felt this, but sometimes the one thing that irritates you is the one thing you find yourself keen to enjoy... you get to feel that void when it ain't there... Enjoy doing the videos like you do, coz the more you enjoy get's me to enjoy more... I believe it's the same for a lot of people, your enjoyment is our joy... Please, (I'm on my knees) do not stop posting your reactions sir... please...

You are so awesome!!! You remind me of my grandmother... so emotional and wise. You are one of the very few reactionist who I looke at their faces and listen to their voices. You always put up such an image to look at and be interested in. That response at the end almost made me cry to see that you got so emotional. Dude... you're right. The talk about lives being valuable and people stripping that away from the innocence... that touched my soul. You really are awesome, and you are one of the few reactors I'll support. Also, a suggestion- if you're watching a music video with the stupid Vevo/MTV censors, I've been wondering if you could take the video and match it with the uncensored audio. Just a suggestion. Keep up what you're doing.

+NearlySeniorCitizen Yetagamer Also, another thing- (These stories are a bit mixed up, but from my research and common sense I can put this together) The song isn't even just about Eminem's friend, but rapper rivalries in general. Tupac, Bugz, Biggie, etc. have died in these rapping shoot-outs and the thought of that is depressing. Two rappers, 50 Cent and Ja Rule had conflict. Eminem was involved when Ja made a line about Marshall's daughter, Hailie. Something about the woman in his life being trash and making an insult that Hailie was going to end up that way as well. Eminem knew what was going to happen if he let the rappers brutally fued like they were. Rap is an art- it should be left as such. The guy on the bed was Proof, and, ironically and sadly, he died in a shoot out shortly after this song was released. Eminem is tired of these results ("I just love y'all to much to see the verdict") and pretty much the whole message is laid out at the end of the video in the news caption where it says, "SHADY: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH".

Add a bit more onto these from what I remember. this is about all the beef that was going on at the time, and how he didn't want to pull his friends into it when he didn't have to. Proof in this video is the guy who got shot, and shows fears the Em had that someone he really cares about could get hurt if things carry on this way. a couple of years after this was released Proof was in a bar and got in an altercation with another guy I think he knew at the pool table. later on the guy came back with his cousin who then proceeded to shoot proof to death. A lot of recovery talks about his feelings about what happened to proof and how he was dealing with it

It was sort of a step back from the beef he and his friends were having with other rappers, and it was his way of saying he was done, becauss he couldnt imagine his friends dying. but 2 years later his friend nicknamed Proof was gunned down at a club i think. sad stuff

Watch Proof ft. 50 Cent - Forgive Me There's a quick explination of what this song is talking about, and a great song from a great lyricist. RIP Proof.

One request that isn't a song, Brizzy Voice's "68 Accents of Dr. Seuss". I wouldn't bother putting it on the poll, I doubt it'll get voted for, but if you want to react to it, I think you'd enjoy it.
