Listening to this song takes me back to my younger days, when I used to bump it on repeat. Now, as a parent with a 6-year-old daughter, the lyrics have taken on a new meaning and depth. It's amazing how music can evolve and grow with us throughout different phases of our lives. Eminem is a true master of his craft, and this song is a testament to his raw talent and ability to connect with his audience on a personal level.

I lost my dad when I was 8, almost nine, in 2005. This song came out a few years later but it was right around the time I started exploring music. This and mockingbird always made me cry and still do. He shows the world how painful grief of all kinds can be, provides an outlet; and ive always appreciated that.

Ever. Especially with the times like they are now. He came popular in the early 2000s when music was amazing and fandom was completely different and the world was a different place. Even if someone is hella talented even less than him they will never blow up as big as Eminem did and the atmosphere will never be the same as it was when he blew up. The 90s and early 2000s was some of the most amazing times that will ever be experienced. I'm forever grateful to be a kid in the early 90s and grow up and to have been a teenager in the early 2000s

Trust me, we will. One legend fades, another will appear. Not better, not worse, but different. Someone one day will pick up the torch. It won't be one of these rainbow clowns for sure, but one day the right person will appear. It will be a different climate due to how he blew up at the age of media booming; but I am 100% sure another legend like Marshall will come again. And I hope I get to live it to listen to it.

@@christineelena5689 how I understand it is that Eminem wrote the song for his daughter Hailey. He is talking about his failure as a dad to his daughter. He wants his daughter to not mourn him or feel any pain that he's the source of when he is "gone," as in when he's dead. And that she should know that he'll be watching over her even when he's gone. I think it is relateable. And it will be even more relateable when he's actually gone.

Do you like it when other people make fun of your music? All you listen to is 'taking pills, doing drugs, booze and women.' The music that you listen to sucks compared to this guys one song right here. P.S- You used Biggie twice dumb fuck. Make your corrections.

I'm 33yrs old and listened to this song when it was released. Now I have a 5yr old daughter, work way too much and this song hit me harder then it ever has. I'm cancelling all work next week and spending time with my family. Definitely understand it alot more when you become in that situation

wow, that is some inspiring stuff man. most people these days don't even want to have children they would rather abort and forget about it and do it again like it was as normal as taking a shit. we live in a fucked up world man. i'm glad your not fucked up, as far as i can tell..

I always go back to this song. This shit literally saved my life. I was in rehab and struggling damn near abandoning my wife and son because I was struggling mentally. I always play this to remind myself that even when you fucking up you can always make that shit right with the right support system. My wife and son loved me like how I was before the problems. I wanted to end it all and this song really was there for me. I made a huge 360 in my life. I've been sober since going on 3 months now. I feel better than I ever had in my whole entire life. I had to learn it's okay to get help

Man, when you're older it's like listening to a completely different song that the one you listen when you were a little kid because you understand everything that the people go through, especially you're idols.

Eminem needs a new clone body every half year to a full year! - Donald Marshall Cloning Center Whistleblower "he is supposed to be dead, and a permanent clone that needs a new replacement body every 6 months to a year. Unknown if it is even his original consciousness running the clone. Could be a Vrill, could be a dead consciousness recorded on chip. It's why he was slurring his speech and acting mentally handicapped in a few of his interviews, His clone brain was degrading and he needed to get a replacement. They go to specific hospitals, like one near camp David somewhere to get the replacements, they grow multiples and choose the most similar looking one." - Donald Marshall [Websites in which you can read this info] -DONALD MARSHALL PROBOARDS -ASTRAL7 BLOGSITE (Website might be slow but its all worth it) Enjoy what you read and spread donalds name and info DON'T EVER THINK THAT WHAT GOES BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION, CAN'T BE A REALITY!
