Welcome back to another trip report, this time on the emirates a380! Today we are flying from London Heathrow Airport to Dubai International Airport on Emirates Airlines Brand New Airbus A380-800. Today's aircraft (A6-EVR) features the latest emirates cabin with the emirates premium economy class installed. I will be showing you the new Economy Class seats which have been refreshed with new colours, upgraded dining tables in a woodgrain finish, 13.3‑inch seatback TV and some more features. This aircraft is the 2nd last airbus a380 to ever be produced.

What fascinated me about Dubai airport was seeing A380 after A380. It was truly a plane lovers heaven. Love flying with Emirates..

@@chucklesomeaviation it did indeed! It confirmed that Emirates is the airline to fly with. Would still love to give Etihad and Qatar a fair chance but Emirates go above and beyond in their customer service..

@@sameerazenib9678 for sure EK is superior however I would like to try out Qatar too. Etihad I flew on their A380 which is now back & Retired A330 in 2018 all my flights were really good but when it comes to post-covid Emirates is hard to beat especially in economy.

@@chucklesomeaviation yes l couldn't agree more! First time l flew Emirates was post Covid because the planes l used to fly with had increased the distant of their routes thus adding hours to ones journey. Hence flying with Emirates and despite the walk through Dubai to my transit gate was the longest lve ever done the airport more than made up for it...

Hello! I was on this exact same flight on July 22nd 2022. I can say the experience was great and about the same as yours! Hopefully I can travel on EK4 again, one of my best flight experiences.

I did an eight hour flight on a Qantas A380 last week and, from your report, Emirates would seem to be better against most criteria. They will be my preferred choice next time!

Hi Tom, the Legroom was great! I am 6'6 and the Emirates A380 offers great legroom better than any other aircraft I've been on so far. Hope you have a great flight on the A380!

What was your seat number? Which seat is the best in economy?

Hello! My seat number was 53A (a bulkhead window seat). It depends on the configuration, as emirates has several different A380 configurations. On the 4 class a380 (the newest a380's or refurbished ones) the best seats are bulkhead seats 52H, 52J or 53A,B,C, 80A,B,C,H,J,K). Seats which are A or K are or exit row seats. If you are flying on a 2 class A380 or 3 Class A380 configuration then you can use a seatsmap website to see which seats are best for your exact flight. Hope that helps :)
