She is a great actress - really enjoyed watching her in A Murder at the End of the World. I hadn't heard of her before this but her acting is great.

This is a tricky conversation to join in without appearing to show bias of one kind or another. But so far it has (mostly) been civil, thankfully. Regarding the “stereotyping“ of Asian appearances, I asked a Chinese friend if she could tell the difference between members of different cultures. She said that for the most part, she can. It is important to note, however, that there are ethnic Koreans living in China, for example, and members of other cultures living in different countries from their ethnic homelands.

Amazing actress so versatile! If I was the game keeper meeting Lady chatterly I would have taken advantage of the fact that Emma is non binary to go fly fishing or hunting instead of making love to here which is such an old fashion déjà vue activity. What is the point of being non binary? 🤣🤣🤣 Just kidding an amazing movie thinking that a book like that was written such a long time ago is surely interesting. no wonder it was banned by the purist of the time. What women liking sex? Outrageous concept! 👍👍👍

Emma is not Connie. The film brings to life a controversial piece of literature from the 1920's.

Is the word “threatened” more accurate? I just always find it weird when somebody can’t seem to respect how someone else identifies themself to the world. It literally costs you nothing to just identify this actor the way that they want to be identified.

As a non-binary person why does Emma Corrin get roles that women should be playing? I think women should get acting roles as women, and that non-women like they are should not get roles for women.
@an6350
@an6350 Жыл бұрын
because it's acting. acting is acting and emma has a female body and wants to do those roles, so why not. women can act as non binary roles as well. and straights can act as gays. it's the name of the game. i mean i don't think ur comment is u expressing a genuine concern anyway.

@@an6350 So can white people act roles for Blacks?
@an6350
@an6350 Жыл бұрын
@@stevencarr4002 didn't say that. i think it's different because a white won't fully look like a black person, so it's a misrepresentation. with a straight woman acting as a gay person, for example, she'll look exactly like a gay woman because they're both just physically women. even like a japanese person playing the role of a chinese person wouldn't be quite right imo because we'd start to think that japanese people look like chinese people, when in reality they have unique characteristics. i think it was cool when robert downey jr did that role as a white person who tries to become a black person (or just act as one?), cause he did it accurately, more accurately than a black person could. but anyway. again, i feel like u aren't genuinely concerned about this and are waiting to say what u actually think, so go off king.

@@an6350 'because we'd start to think that japanese people look like chinese people, when in reality they have unique characteristics' Do tell me more about how you can tell Japanese people apart from Chinese people? East Asians can't tell who is Japanese, Chinese or Korean just by looking at their faces, at least not with any great confidence, but you can? No racial stereotyping on your part, is there?
@an6350
@an6350 Жыл бұрын
@@stevencarr4002 yeah they can, most of the time. i can as well my dude. i guess right most of the time, but ig you wouldn't believe that. I think you just have to be exposed to more asian culture over a long period of time to start seeing the differences, just like people who haven't been around many black people think individual black people are hard to recognize bc they look the same to them. i'd say the main difference is that chinese people usually have wider faces, and their eyes look smaller in comparison, maybe more tilted down as well? and then japanese ppl have more prominent eyes, and since their faces are a bit smaller in general i think their features are more prominent in general. but i'm gonna stop replying cause i know ur just here to fight. but i'll read ur next reply if you leave one ofc.
