This adaptation was absolutely gorgeous and Ambika and Leo did a fantastic job bringing Emma and Dexter to life. The lovely Nay @StarryEyedEdits tweeted about this song (without even having seen the show -- I remain impressed) and the moment I heard it I knew I had to edit it with them. I wanted to focus on Dexter, specifically him being stuck in that space between moving on and remembering. As I was editing I realised the visual story being told is not unlike that of Orpheus and Eurydice. One always following the other, until one day they turn around and it's too late. Still, the memories remain.
I am very proud of how this video came out and I hope you all like it. (I will be standing by with tissues.)

This show has literally destroyed me. It's been days since I finished it but still thinking about it and crying everyday 💔 This edit was sooo beautiful and cleverly done, the parallels and including all the ways he looks/goes back to her is such a small detail but so meaningful and important in showing the extent of his love and adoration for her, I didn't notice it before, great work 👏🏼❤

Immediately watching this right after finishing Ep 14…I am WEEPING. Oh god, I was holding it together, but then the instrumental hit and the parallels and him calling out her nAME?? AND THEN REACHING OUT FOR HER? And the last VOICEOVER- This is a beautiful masterpiece and I wish I could like it 1,000 times 😭

I just finished watching this show. The last episode had me in absolute TEARS! And this made me cry some more. This is beautiful and devastating and heartfelt. Really captured their wonderful yet tragic love story. For the Anne Hathaway version, I watched it a while ago. I was totally thinking that the song Hold me while you wait suited that movie really well and if I could video edit I would use that song. Instead, I listened to it after watching the movie and I had more of a sob fest. Anyway, sorry, not trying to be critical or rude. I think the song you used was suited for the tv show. It's so all-consuming in it's beauty from the tragedy.

0:13 was when I went "oh no Sara, oh no....the dying really has begun." 0:28 turning to colour 2:02 chef kiss 3:48 when the instrumental builds I was on edge due to your earlier tweet and it was all the times they found each other in crowd parallels SAAARRRRAAAAAAAAAA "I was just waiting for you" was when the tears I was containing burst their bank!

I was watching it mesmerized thinking, what a gorgeous, cinematic work it is and then, I noticed the name of the channel. Obviously it's just one of my all time favourite creator on here, I should have known! I realised I haven't had a chance to check the channel in a while, I have so much to caught up!
