Can’t remember. Looks like late spring/early summer. Everywhere here is too hot from July-September after 12 pm. Just go early in those months. Entire rest of year is great

Thanks. I do run a Rekluse clutch. Started using one about 9 years ago and like it. I can ride a clutch bike but prefer the auto clutch now. Also allows me to run a left hand rear brake lever which really helps in the super gnarly stuff.

You can tell.. he never takes it out of 2nd XD... that bogging sound when he gets on the throttle is the behavior of an auto clutch on a 2 stroke thats in a less than perfect gear. but that's what you buy them for, let the rekluse do all the work. Emma is a PITA as it is!

@@dirtbikehombre7987 , Running the taller gear allows for smoother riding and less fatigue. I have tested this in race conditions, (running lower gear where it "sounds good", vs. running in 3rd or 4th where it "sounds boggy" but is not), and it is noticably faster to run the tall gear.

There are usually people out there. Don't recommend riding solo if it's your first time. There are also much better places to ride not far from Austin as well, Central Texas Off Road (CTOR) and Hidden Falls Adventure Park, I have vids of each on my KZfaq page keepupwithajones. Holler when you get ready to ride and I'll make sure you have someone to ride with wherever you decide to go.

@@keepupwithajones That sounds good. I was planning on hitting up CTOR. I usually try to do Sprint Enduro and HS races whenever I can. I will be out there second week of August. I will shoot you a reply message on here when I am planning on riding, depending on the heat of course.

It’s fairly difficult. Great place to go if you’re close to it though. Don’t ride it alone and preferably with someone who’s been out there. Great place to build skills for Texas trails too!

Not that I know of. I only go there about once a year. Check out Austin Motor Sports Association AMSA. They have ride days and other stuff where you can meet local riders.

Jacob Reese , depends on your skill level really. I’ve had friends ride 500s on it. It’s technical but definitely rideable on most anything if you’re up for a challenge.

Every time I go I've seen that truck. I drive a white z71 suburban, normally with a ladder on it. Stop by the truck if I'm there.

Nickolas Zinsmeister , if you can ride it really well. There are some really gnarly rock walls to climb. Bike needs good rock protection. You will crash.
