This embodies a shame I relate to. Her haunting portrayal of her spirit suffering through this human experience is so gorgeous. Thank you for transmuting this pain into such a raw and beautiful reality.

The studio version is so lovely n polished...and this one is so raw and vulnerable. it blows the studio version out of the water. for a moment, i forgot i was not in the same room as Emma.

I keep coming back to this version. Emma’s voice is amazing and conveys a lot of the feelings I feel I am unable to. But, there’s something about the guitar solo in this that gives me chills and puts me on the brink of tears every time. It encapsulates a certain type of angry grief and longing for me

Saw her live, opening for Alcest at the Southbank as part of Robert Smith's meltdown, very impressed. Reminds me of early (pre Mitch Froom) Suzanne Vega. I am going to have to start buying her entire back catalog :)
