Emma really deserved her Oscar, but I hope that Lily Gladstone eventually gets a win later on in her career.

She deserved for Poor Things but not for La la land Amy Adams should've won that year for Arrival and she wasn't even nominated

Lol La La Land was her least deserved Oscar. An Actress playing a struggling actress isn't a stretch. Poor Things was way harder to pull off. You would have seriously nominated Margot over her? 😂
@MsTdiniz
@MsTdiniz 3 күн бұрын
Lol Margot is awesome but didn’t deserved a Oscar nomination for Barbie, Lily Gladstone was only for half of the movie, she was mostly nominated for representation, Emma Stone did a great job in La La Land but her most deserved Oscar was for Poor Things, she didn’t had any competition. She was THAT great! It was a performance for a lifetime!

Emma stone is pretty good actress. Not one of best but the performance she gave at poor things and birdman were very good, i haven't seen la la land but i remember that her win is kinda divided among people.

i'm a big Emma Stone fan and I'm very happy that she won for "Poor Things". However when it comes to her win for "La La Land"... i mean, she was great and definitely deserved that nomination, but was she better than Natalie Portman in "Jackie" or Isabelle Huppert in "Elle"? I'm not sure bout that.

@@mati.p172tbh, I think the La La Land win is a given.. Portman already won an Oscar and Isabelle Hupert just burst into the scene that year whilst Emma already had a nomination and is in a more well-received film than her two competitors. If La La Land was received poorly by the critics, pretty sure the Isabelle would win.

I personally think her La La Land win is one of the more deserving Oscar wins. And absolutely was the best performance that year.

Margot is great but Bella was way harder and better written character than Barbie. In what world was Margot Oscar worthy?
@MsTdiniz
@MsTdiniz 3 күн бұрын
What kind of hard work was for Margot to play the role of Barbie? lol, Bella Baxter required a total freedom and 100% commitment not to mention the dance part, play a grown woman with the brain of a newborn. This is challenging!

Yes I agree Bella Baxter was excellent even a way better than Mia… Maybe Margot was just unlucky that the movies came out at the same time Anddd then there's Ryan… ❤️ I wish lot of luck to him and her in the future projects, they already deserved it!
