Growing up does not mean becoming inappropriate or “Rated R”. I think you are confusing the two, but they’re not synonymous. In fact if we are being real, as you grow up you are suppose to grow & expand in your interest across all aspects of your life. Diving deeper into promiscuous & more racey things is just most peoples false perception of what is available for them when they are older when there is SO much more than that. I never personally “grew up” & got more inappropriate-I began to speak up for myself more, establish boundaries, solidify my personality/character traits, choose friends more wisely, consider my future more + start going after Goals. I think this growing up and becoming racey thing has to die. It doesn’t do anything for this generation & it’s obvious. I meet teenagers that know everything about themselves sexually/daring/relationship wise but couldn’t tell me one activity outside of sex/dating/relationship that really makes them feel like them? 🤔 Their not growing up-their stunting their growth if you ask me.
