This is why I continue to teach violin to young people after 30 years. I never know if the child I am teaching will be one of the next great violinists to perform on stage. (of course teaching adult beginners to play to their full potential on violin is close to my heart too)

Uff, emotions flying through the sound pitched by that violin and trumpet that day, so emotional, loved it! There's no need to sing when an instrument is played as well as they did.What a melodic and expressive sense... A long time of rehearse I guess!

This is the performance that introduced me to Lucia Micarelli, and made me buy her album, and made me look up all of her other performances and...you get the point. It was a fantastic performance. Chris did a really great job too. :o)

Chris your a star among stars, and you always were as far as I can see and I see just fine. But little Lucia what a sweet little Kitten, you would have to hug her twice a day once in the morning and once at night to make sure she is safe. Love and health I send you both. You bring so much joy to so many, you give of yourself and that's big. 🙃🙂🎺🦋💐💐

I had to put my 17 year old cat to sleep last week. I played this for as I brushed her and held her head before walking my beloved friend down the green mile. I felt her faint purr and tears are rolling down my face right now as I listen to it for the umpteenth time.

SO BEAUTIFUL and TOUCHING Music!!! This piece of music makes me feel like that we are always facing a lot of difficulties, troubles, sorrows and uncertain situations in the long journey of our life. Most of time we are lonely, helpless, weak and defeated. But praise God, we have the standfast and endless help, love, care, comfort, company that come from the Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, the Maker of Heaven and earth. His name is Emmanuel, God with us......

I saw them live at Wolftrap, VA. They played this song, I was mixed with emotions when i herd this song, i did not know wether it was a sad song or happy, its so bittier-sweet it almost hurts to listen to but i want to here it again and again. its almost like life it self, beautiful but fleeting no matter how hard you try to hold on to it. All you can do is enjoy it while your here and even then one day you too will wittier away back to dust.

This woman brings me to tears. Reminds me of Jackie Evancho the way she gets into the music. Fabulous. I don't know who the 38 down votes came from but they obviously have no ears for music. Shame on all of them.

El compositor de Emmanuel es Michel Columbier (5/23/39 - 11/14/04). The song first appeared on his 33 1/3 record album "Wings" (1971) His original version featured solo oboe with orchestra..
@leemartin29783 жыл бұрын
This is a far better version in my opinion than that on the album you refer to. It’s made all the more emotional when you’re aware that he composed it as a tribute to his son, obviously of the same name , who passed away aged 5 . It’s nothing short of spectacular

I've never heard such emotion. Such tears falling from such a sweet Violin. Why Violin WHY!?. Trumpet, You hurt Violins Feelings and left it all Strung out. Now Trumpet needs a Drink, before its mind turns to brass to think about what it did. BAD TRUMPET YOU SIT IN THE CORNET!!!

They stand, staring at each other, only footsteps apart. They cross, slowly, hesitantly toward each other. Then in a gentle , somehow sad, embrace they kiss hesitantly and their lips begin to part slowly. Almost an eternity passes before she slowly turns, stops and looks back. He stares at her in silence. Slowly she turns and walks away from him, again. This time he thinks it is forever.....
