Yes I think the fact that Nicky is completely ignoring him is punishment enough, he’s sacrificed his already damaged relationship with his son for money, his plan failed and now he’s paying the consequences for it.

I agree with that but I think the fact that Nicky has gone awol and won’t speak to him is punishment enough and also the plan failed, he has no money either. None of the Dingles are perfect and cain and charity have done a lot worse.

Uhm Caleb, the one who decided to have Moira's business sold to Kim, the one who decided the fate of Cain's son, without consulting Cain himself... A brother like this is better to lose than to find... Furthermore: He had to expect to be caught, and after making Moira sell the farm to Kim Tate, what did he expect? That Kim, like a good lady, would return it? Because in my house, it doesn't work like that... Or when he got his own way with Cain's son, without consulting him, and then pushed him away and forbade him to see his son, just because he wanted to have his way, when it was absolutely none of his business , as Kyle is not his son, but Cain's. Or what did he expect after he found out his son was gay, that he'd marry Gabby anyway? Or that he took the blame for what his plan was? Now most of the family hate him, what did he expect, a warm welcome after what he did? Furthermore, other people, smarter and with more style, have tried to ruin Kim Tate, let's talk about Joe for example... And he too went against the Dingles... and what did he get out of it? A punch from Cain that nearly killed him.

Caleb helping out nephew was more unstable than Cain sticking his nose into the middle of Chas & Als affair. The he carried you'd of thought that this was his marriage.

Furthermore, now he (Caleb) does so much as he wants a bond with the family, when he is ready to sacrifice his own son in the name of his personal revenge...

They don't know how to kick out someone properly. They tried which every each one of them at the end they are forgiven every time. It's all a joke. And you know, it wasn't like she was out and then in, she just never left and conversations went from none to brief to harsh, rude to neutral and then to friendly. They are not serious and they are hypocrits.

I'm watching classic Emmerdale right now, Shadrach was thrown out the family for postal fraud and attempted adultery, a month afterward, he was let back into the family. Marlon has been thrown out the family twice for getting Sam into trouble back in '97 and for stealing out of the family pot in '03, he was let back in the family (albeit for tragic circumstances). Anymore examples are welcome but yeah these banishments don't stick well

“Dingle court”🤭 I don’t trust Caleb’s words and apologies, he was happy enough to ruin Moira’s business so he could try and take everything from Kim he was greedy and loved the power, if he wasn’t caught he would have kept quiet and Moira still would have lost her farm, I can understand Cain’s anger here.

Kim killed Caleb's father, Cain told Caleb his mum was dead and kept him away from his family for 30 yrs. I'd say he's right to be annoyed here.

I'm not up to date with this. But why are the Dingles pissed with Caleb. He wants revenge on Kim. The Dingles and the Tates have never got on, you'd think they would be happy that he is conning Kim.

@@K-sv1io yeah I agree. Cain's not bothered about Caleb, conning Kim, he is secretly impressed I reckon. It's something to do with Moira's farm. He was going to sell it, from underneath them and not tell them, anything to do with Kim was a bonus to him. I think they're more betrayed than angry. They let him into their lives, and he's gone behind their backs.

Caleb plotted so that Moira lost her clients, FSA (I think it was it) was investigating. Thus Moira's finances took bigger hit and she had to sell her land.

What if it's Chas who pushes Caleb down from the ridge? Like that would be a good twist. Well, what ever they decide in their (ridiculous) court, it will not last. It has never lasted. Hahahah, Charity voting 'yes' to both options and Noah pointing it out. 😅 Too bad that Emmerdale had to do what they always do and ruin Cain's and Caleb's relatioship. They're great team and together they could've done lot of things. Anyway. Is Zak looking ill? Is it just Zak (make up) or is it Steve?

They're the Dingles. They never did the right thing. That's what makes them the iconic soap family. They should won the British Soap Awards for Best Soap family. Giving the McQueens from Hollyoaks and the Mitchells from Eastenders something to whine about.
