You do realise neglect is not giving a dam and they do care a lot so it’s not neglect your not just gonna expect a kid no sneak alcohol back home

So Colin abuses his son, disowns him and ignores his calls about grieving over his dead mother and suddenly he's father of the year when he visits his son in the hospital? Yeah, maybe Laurel should have checked Marshall for any booze, but Colin had NO right to talk down on her and Jai when he himself is horrible.

Being an alcoholic doesn't make a bad person but if he'd been a good dad, he would have been living with him. Where was he meant to go? He's worse because he neglected his own son. Laurel is still being kind to him

Laurel should have let Jai check on Marshall, but she is too bossy and wants to control everything.

@@-B-1 Jai wanted to go and check on Marshall .. Laurel always bossy to Jai said no, Marshall ended up in hospital ... Laurel even admitted that it was her fault. Jai should not have needed Laurel's permission to act on his concern for Marshall. I think it's you that needs to use your brain.
