This arrangement is crazy awesome and this is maybe not a huge thing, but shout out to the intonation of the bassist on that unison at the beginning. Of all of the things to keep in tune, fretless/double bass has always seemed like the hardest for me.

Passing it on and around. Jazz is and always been multi generational. And that is one of the reason it survives, grows and maintains it´s viability as a cultural icon. Wish Stanley Crouch was still around to write about this beauty. Peace.
