This sure took me by surprise. Didn't know he had another vocalist/guitarist in the band. The singer really stays true to the original and hits those crazy high notes and goes on to shred some guitar, too. Chris still has his own unique style and plays it well.

Oh DAMN!!!! I grew up with, and thrive on, the 80's metal ballads and arena rock. Sure the NWOBHM was all muddled in with L.A. Glam Rock/Hair Metal or what have you (Poison, Motely et al), now it's a hodgepodge of Black metal, Death Metal, Progressive metal and so on. This is undeniably just brilliant rock/metal, through and through. The epitome of arena rock, absolutely as classic as it gets. No matter how you choose to classify it, it is simply incredible. What a song! Thanks for taking part in my life! ....oh, did I say I liked it too? :D

One of my favourite songs and this version is musically perfect. The only thing it misses is the madness of Blackie. I mean, he is a real great artist, singer and musician - maybe one of the greatest living today - but you may not want his abilities.
