Sir mein bhi dry mode/monsoon mode use karta hoon. LG a.c ka 1st inverter model. Eg :Out of 10 cycles in a minute 2-3 is cooling rest dehumidifier as per LG. Very silent and power saving mode as we can reach upto 22 degrees.

Non inverter me 5 star nahi ayega. Max 2,3 star ayega. Go for Daikin or Mitsubishi electric. I have top floor living room of 225 sq feet as well. Have zeroes on 2 ton Mitsubishi electric Mr slim. Simply the best for this use case

You are mistaken... as I did put it on dry mode and it started consuming maximum energy... FYI I have sub meter installed on my AC... your claim needs to be corroborated with some proof...

I read your question and was curious about it since I use to put my AC for prolonged time in dry mode as i live at a few meters from the beach with a pretty bad insulation. According to what I have read, limiting the operation time to 2 hours is not related to the problem it causes to the AC but to the fact that low humidity level is as uncomfortable as high humidity level for the humans.

you mean 5kva ka naa? fir jarurat nhi hai ..woh stabilizer pure ghar ke voltage ko 180 se 240 volt tk maintain krk rkhta hai...ek chota sa le lo ,nhi bhi lia toh koi baat nhi.

The major energy consumption comes from the compressor unit, the fan has little energy share. Thus, to reduce the power consumption the temperature of the AC should be around 24-26 Celcius instead of lower temperatures.

Also it depends on outdoor Or room temperature If there is much hotter air.then compressor will take much time to rotate cooling fluid to finally cool the indoor air and remove moisture from air By the way, health issues can arise if we use a.c in non coastal areas, like cities surrounded by land/ cities, if we use more than 5 hours Sweating is natural cooling system given by god Just use it for some time
