Kindly let us know the downside of BLDC fan like PCB failure and it's repair and replacement cost. As of now I believe that the good old technology is the best.

Yes. The old type fans are easily serviceable whereas for BLDC, you have to reply on the brand service. I have had worst experience with Atomberg service.
