As a person that has naturally curly hair I always straighten my hair and today was the first day I went to school with my curly hair and a lot of people liked it my parents told me that there are a lot of people in the world that would die to have curly hair and said I’m very lucky to have natural curly hair and I should embrace it more often.

i have straight hair but i love the curls like she has soo much that i tried the curly girl hair method a couple of times to somehow achieve waves if not curls but without any success .it only made my hair more frizzy .🤷🏻‍♀️.curls are beautiful and unique .straight hair is not so unique atleast for me .

When you're in highschool all you want is to fit in. Then when you get into your 20s you realize that just fitting in makes you feel invisible & unimportant. Omg yes. I think that all girls with curly hair have gone through the same thing. We thought that only straight hair was beautiful and we didn’t realize that we have the unique hair! I spend all my teenage years straightening my hair too! Not knowing that my hair was beautiful and different that way! I seriously never knew she had curly hair this whole time. It's gorgeous. I have tried to get that natural christine daae look on my own straight hair so many times. I wonder if they had to do much to her hair on the set of phantom.
