Peaky hi, first of all, great filming and thanks for sharing. But more importantly and let me get this off my chest, I have never seen such as ruthlessly over aggressive team than Coleraine tonight. They embodied everything that is unsavory, nasty, dangerous, criminal, sadistic and wreckless in their tackling and malicious targeting of opposition players and ultimately resulted in McMenamin being stretchered off with what you say yourself looks like a broken leg. He is the jewel in the Glentoran crown, the most gifted player in our league, and if the Coleraine manager’s direction was to stop him “at all costs”, then it’s beyond disgraceful. For now, enough said.

Good old fashioned Irish league game, a lot if close to the knuckle challenges. Thought a definite red for Jarvis tackle on Mcmenamin, reckless and dangerous. As far as the result goes draw probably right....keep up good work Peaky.

I always tune into your blogs, Im a Glentoran fan in Vietnam, and its always good to watch the NI Irish league from a different perspective. Onto this game. Contrary to what you mentioned in your vlog, There is another channel, NI League "uncut", you will see in the opening minute of that video, Coleraine are actually watering the pitch before the game. (You arrived late, as you said). As for the Glentoran fans gurning at every tackle. We do have a very well disciplined side, and that is part of why we are, where we are in the league, by keeping 11 players on the pitch week in week out. Having just watched officials rule out two legit goals at Glenavon, i'm sure you can appreciate the frustration the supporters feel towards the officials. anyway...it also helps make a boring 0-0, an entertaining 0-0. Fair result, 0-0 at the Coleraine showgrounds is a good result to come away with. Keep up the good work, I hope Coleraine's form improves, there home support is very good for the Irish League, if you were able to take half of that home support away, that 12th man could "mentally" help your team improve their form. I couldn't make the match due to a football match tomorrow morning at 11 but it's in Belfast and I live in Londonderry so by the time I would've got back it would've been late like cause I had to be up really early today but I watched the match on tv and Coleraine played brilliant especially in the second half when we could've been 2-0 up

Draw fair result. Straight red for Jarvis though don't think there was any malice in it, Kanes two follow through tackles were worse. He should of walked. The elbow was debatable so not sure on that one.

Coleraine sud had 3 players sent off Dcfc

As a Coleraine fan I was disappointed we didn't play, especially second half when the glens were there for the taking. We look like an average premier League team who will finish 6th or 7th. Glackin wasn't involved in the game at all and the crosses from Coleraine were poor aside from the one we hit the post. The McMenamin tackle was poor. Ref judged it as a yellow so glens need to accept that. He can't upgrade it to a red because the player gets stretchered off, or because he's the best player in the league. The L kane follow through on Burns was worse, I'm glad Lyndon apologised in the post match interview on BBC.

great vid again Niall. was a super game to watch, proper irish league game, was more like a big 2 derby. on the mcmenamin incident, everyone was saying jarvis went in 2 footed with studs up but he never. if you watch it his feet were way out to the left and it appears to be his knees thats caught him and done the damage, still was reckless to a degree. on the fans side its idiots like the ones that were shouting abuse and threats towards the coleraine fans that are gonna make coleraine stop all away fans from sitting in the stand, absolutely bang out of order to be yelling things like "im gonna take your bleeping head off" etc and the one at the end on the way out. the glens dont like it when a team gets stuck in and it shows as they get riled up, and the comments of mick the moron after the game for me were bang out of order, going out and actually naming 3 or 4 players on live tv and accusing them of deliberately going and trying to break another players leg. great point for yous after tuesday night tho

Proper Irish League game. The Jarvis tackle wasn't a good one at all but to be honest I didn't think Bobby Burn's tackle before that was much better. Too much focus on the referee but to be honest neither team looked great, you could tell both lost on Tuesday evening.

Bad challenges from Burns and then Jarvis. If the ref had sent Burns off then I'm sure the Jarvis challenge may not have happened. The ref was consistent but made a rod for his back

I don't think there was too much wrong with the game. The McMenamin injury is unfortunate but the Coleraine game plan was spot on. Get in among them, be hard to break down, make things difficult then try to take their chances when they come along and overall it worked a treat. Oh and Glentoran and Linfield fans are exactly the same; they cry and complain about everything. A couple of grown men should be a little embarrassed watching your vlog.

Watching the World Cup on tv and these Tor Tor Tor Irish football experiences. Good stuff. Beats Spain v Costa Rica. Reminds me a little (not a lot!) of Luton before we got promoted to the Championship. Prefer real football to Premier League all day long. Proper fans who are supporters and not customers.
