We've filmed a few day in the life vlogs since Naomi's diagnosis with Stage 4 Bowel Cancer, but this one ended with hope so we felt we'd love to share it as we want to put out content we'd have wanted to see at the beginning of this.
If you have questions; Naomi was diagnosed originally on 22nd Dec with Metastatic Cancer so a Bowel Tumour that had spread to her Liver and Lymph Nodes. We were told on Christmas Eve 2021 that it was Stage 4 and she'd be treated with Radiotherapy & Chemo. She was then told in January that it was inoperable cancer; meaning a palliative care plan. Which means you stay on chemo treatment for as many years as it works, she was also told that they once suspected a year although we didn't ask and they only told us that after she started responding to her 2nd chemo treatment BEACON. Naomi remains fighting for an operation which could step change life expectancy and a chance to be NED (No Evidence of Disease) and an opportunity to come off chemo. It's the dream and we're just trying, like everyone else with this awful disease, to have hope and keep living and smiling.
