Hello my beautiful family welcome back to another day in our lives, Join me as we celebrate my sons 8th grade promotion! Omg let me tell you this is super emotional for me because my baby is growing and soon he will become an adult. As one chapter of his life closes another one opens and will determine his future! I’m a very proud mom, my son not only is he very smart but he is also a good kid! Congratulations to your son and to you guys as parents as well. It hurt to see how distant he was but understand because I was the same. Definitely not ready for my boys to become teens. Maybe let him know that you will record or take pictures but not post if thats what he is worried about. I think its best that you have that personal memory instead of sharing if he doesn’t want to. I love that you let him choose how he wanted to be celebrated instead of forcing him to have a party that he wouldn’t be happy in.

It breaks my heart to hear you repeatedly say how you wish your son could be different. I wish you could embrace who he is and appreciate who he is. I don’t even know him but I think he is perfect! I know you love him and want him to have a beautiful life but constantly reminding him how shy will just make himself draw into himself. All he needs to know is that he is fearfully and wonderfully made!

He is not shy he is embarrassed on his mom acts and dressed when he is around him. I agree though she needs to accept him for who he is not change him.

I have a freshman and he was/is SUPER shy! We've been pushing him to do more things on his own like order his own food, run in the store for something quick and it's helping. He recently joined track and that's helped him tremendously. Ya asta para chambelan lo apuntamos🙃 sometimes they need the extra push. Congrats to the kids for completing another crazy school year❤

Agree 100%- my 15 year old son is 15 and in 10th grade- he's so shy. He played basketball for so long but suddenly now doesn't want to play in high school. He's also been in orchestra since 5th grade- which I've loved and he has too so he's sticking with it but I'm also trying to get him to do more things. Teaching him to pump gas, pay for things etc. It goes by so fast🥺🤗

I have a high school sophomore and all I complain about is his attitude but thankfully my son still goes out with me everywhere he doesn’t mind me taking pictures of him so I guess I can deal with an attitude

Aaaww Claudia watching your videos. It relaxes me too see how you’re such a good Mom to your kids and it shows on their smiling faces ☺️. Your son Angel will grow out of that phase and you’ll grow closer as time passes. Just be patient and continue showing your love and understanding to him.

Props to you Claudia 👏 for raising such a respectful young man. I remember my middle school promotion lol lord there was TOO many emotions during middle school so i can understand why he wanted to back out last minute. I was extremely reserved and shy until i reached 16 and got my first job then i broke out of my shell and now i don't ever shut up lol 🙃😅 loved the vlog!!!

I think that's a good idea to bring the whole family to therapy... i didn't realize until i got past 21 that i needed serious therapy back in middle school to treat the mental issues like depression and anxiety that i later developed

Awh I feel you. Exactly like my 2 older boys are now. Everything to themselves. My youngest is so out there. He's not even shy. I have nothing but boys myself here. Everything will get better. Angel is just trying to find his own identity and maybe his KZfaq family is too much. Or he could be a natural introvert. I was the same as a teenager. I love that he is protective of his privacy and stands up for himself as in not wanting to be forced to do something he isn’t comfortable with.

Omg my oldest son is the same. He keeps to himself. He does not like social events. He will be 18 next year!! He just got his first job and is actually at work right now. I'm surprised cuz it's at a sports bar so he has to interact with people. I think he's only ok with it because he works with his friend. My 2nd son is 15 and he's more open. My kids are great kids. They're very open with me and are so respectful.

Congratulations to your son! Boys are so shy! But girl are the opposite always wanting to be in frame. My daughters are always wanting me to constantly take pictures of them, while I am lucky if I can get one picture of my son.
