This was one of my Momma's favorite songs too! She grew up poor during the depression in Rhode Island. The winters there are harsh. In high school she would rotate her two dresses and had to wear her older brother's hand me down coat! This song sparked those memories. Her mother was a young widow who had to work. But they shared so much love in their little home! I am always grateful for that because she was a very hands on loving parent and our home was a place my friends would want to visit. 💞 Love is the most important thing in life!
