Your emotions are about you, never about the other person. Everyone who’s emotional is evil, and has an agenda. When you don’t get what you want, you get mad. It’s still about you - you’re trying to get something to feel something.
Emotions are like gooey in a clogged-up sink. Consciousness has no emotions. Divided people want happiness - if you think happiness is good, you’ll think unhappiness is bad.
Rise in consciousness.
Marriages, relationships, and business-ships don’t work. You go to war to make people give you what you think you want.
Emotions gotta go. Look at war.
Count it all joy. The not you is what you made a fool of. Be still and watch. Everybody has the same problem. When a wife or husband cries because the other doesn’t love her, thoughts of revenge come: Cussing someone out, breaking car windows… Take the moment and go through it: Question why I’m feeling this way. Stay quiet in those times. The Devil will make you find someone else.
Emotions are gooey.
The fallen state, the lower level, is unnatural. When you rise in consciousness, you’re overcoming the abnormal lifestyle. You become spiritual in the body. It can and will happen if you stay with you, watching you. The light of God will destroy the darkness - it has no power. If you did nothing about the fear, it would have to leave. You give it life; the Devil has to live in human beings. Run to it, not from it.
The Holy Spirit doesn’t care about your past or future; it’s your Teacher. It will teach us all things, bringing all things to your clear remembrance. Most don’t trust the Teacher at all. It’s not about whooping and hollering.
Unclog the dark gooey stuff. The thoughts can’t flow through you - they get stopped up in you.
The Devil tells you being without emotions are being like a robot.

When I drank, I was emotional. When I wanted to drink, I was emotional. When I gave up myself to God, the emotions went away. Emotions/thoughts are of the enemy. Great service, Jesse. Thank you BOND crew.

We currently have a crisis of emotionally fragile people unable to deal with the slightest of things. Tough times are coming. What will they do when it arrives. Jesse is right. Its an evil that has swept the land and made us so weak we are very vulnerable. Back in the day people were not this fragile.

@@WildJack8 it began as a way to deal with many overlapping betrayals, including both family and staff, in early 2023. I became aware of financial misconduct in my company as well as collusion of my nuclear family with respect to personal matters, done in secrecy and with no regard for the consequences that their actions would bring upon me. stoicism is the philosophy that I embraced as a way to help me through a tsunami of emotional pain. I study it everyday for motivational purposes.

@@user-sr9zt5kt9h Those things sound rough. A high school buddy of mine used to tell me that all humans will eventually let you down. I was succinct and a wise comment. It didn't come from a place of depression, but he seemed to have, simply, accepted that truth and was prepared for its inevitability. If you want to be rich, desire less. Don't be attached to "externals" as sources of your happiness. If you're an Audible member "the Practicing Stoic" is a must listen and re-listen. It was, literally, my bible for a few years. Every psychiatrist and hypnotist will tell you humans are more emotional than rational, that we have an emotional reaction and we use the intellect to rationalize our emotional stance. I guess we really are in a fallen state.

NOT true; only betas are more emotional than rational, as they have acquired this features from their mothers. In fact, even psychologists will tell you that when women are upset their emotional component is so strong that they are hardly rational. This is one of the reasons why when you have an upset girlfriend or wife, you just need to listen to them and you shouldn't try to rationalize or find solutions as they will get upset (they just can't process it at a logical level) When women are upset is all about giving feedback such as: really? no way? did she say that? and the like... the kind of feedback they get when they tell other women about their problems...

I wasted years of my life acting on my emotions and thoughts and it didn't work out well. Family stuff mainly. I was closer to being a man as a child as I am as a man.

it sounds like your mindset has changed. The past doesn't exist. Leave it behind. Forgive yourself and everyone who you "claimed" "made you" act on your emotions. They couldn't help themselves. They listened to their thoughts (who are not them; but they thought it was them).

People are deluded - they trust their compulsive thoughts and their negative emotions. They also trust their positive emotions. For example, you can't rely on women to make rational decisions. I have a woman co-worker who's nuts over me. She can't get over me - unfortunately. The reason she likes me is because she's already in a relationship with a guy that 'bored' her. They don't get along. The issue is that both of them don't understand that it is a spiritual battle between good and evil. They have no idea that they are deluded by their emotions. This woman who likes me can't seem to detach herself from me. But she likes me because she has emotions for me, not because I'm a decent guy. I suppose that when her emotions will fade away, she'll seek another guy. No matter how much sex you have, it can't possibly make you happy. Nothing in this world can make you happy - food, drugs, sex, socializing, or whatever. Only the light of God can save us and make us content with who we are. Remember: Be in this world, but not of it. Peace and well-being!

no physical thing or act can satisfy our wanting. I quit drinking because I realized this. While doing a home project, I saw my trash can increasing steadily with nothing but beer cans being added. I looked at them, and thought, "what am I doing this for?" Now when I eat a bowl of ice cream, I wonder if this next spoonful will "be enough," to satisfy me. The answer is: I could always have more (unless the eating just made me uncomfortable, I guess)... "One is one too many. One more is never enough..." My current battle is general stimulation. I rarely do one task at a time....and it is zapping my productivity. :(

Facts I catch myself being selfish in some instances. But trying to stop for the better of the future of not just myself but the people around me. Bc dang I really be disgusted with my self with some of the selfish thoughts that pop up in my mind at times

Emotions are always going to be there whether we acknowledge them or not it's part of the human condition but it also extends to all mammals and most other animals (the only differences in animals be call it instinct and in people we call it emotion but they are one in the same and the result of the same physiological systems made for much Dumber animals which is why they cause us so much problems) because it goes a lot deeper than just us but we definitely need to learn to moderate then better because we can unlike all the other animals don't really have a choice. "Until you make the Unknown Known it will rule your life and you will call it fate" Carl Jung You have to be self-aware intellectually honest introspective and exceedingly humble to get there where you can realize that your emotional state of being is not indicative a reality or anything else and must be willfully adjusted when it is appropriate because emotions are by their very nature quite irrational and often have absolutely no basis in reality. They may cause you to behave in ways that seem evil but the people who let them control them are not evil they're just not very good at rational self control and there's a big difference there

Agree! JLP says all women have evil spirits in them that cause them to be emotional (as if men are not because all humans have emotions) and are in Hell. Learning to control the negative ones or reflect on why and of its warranted for the event is the key. No emotions means you're a sociopath and is impossible for humans and quite joyless and lifeless. Loving God or you're family or your pets is an emotion, we not supposed to do that?? JLP is a quack with terrible guidance.

does anyone else think this is nonsense? what is he talking about? he said in another video that there is no such thing as self but then he says the word "you" endlessly. so you don't have a self, but you have a "you"? so you're not self, but you are you.

The self is akin to a number or a letter, it only exists as an abstraction of reality, it does not exist independent of context. You can hold 5 of something in your hand but you cannot hold the number 5. I agree that it would be nonsense to say that numbers, or the self, aren't real, but that isn't what JLP is saying. Just like a number, "the self" is "real" only within the context of other "selfs"; mathematics cannot be done with just 1 number. It's an unfalsifiable claim because you would need a world with only 1 consciousness to test it, but we trust mathematics in our everyday lives and mathematics is also, unfalsifiable.

@@FutureNihilist I might agree that self is conventionally representational, like how you suggest a number or letter is, but it's not an abstraction of reality, bc reality is an abstraction as well. so it begs the question which abstraction came first, and what is doing the abstracting? if its not the self, then what is it? if it is the self, then its not a representation like numbers or letters, even though any conceptualization of the self IS a representation, and perhaps that's what he's referring to. and I disagree that is unfalsifiable on similar basis. however, I realized JLP has to simplify things sometimes, bc in another video he HIGHLY recommends to the audience to "know thyself". so this "there is no self" is following from a thought someone is having about the self, not necessarily a denial of the self. which is confusing, but its tricky to work around language, when people define things differently all the time lol

Jesse can't express truth, no-one can. All words are lies, only pointers towards truth. It really depends on whether we have ears to hear and eyes to see past words, which are concepts.

This is a dangerous message. Emotions are a part of what make us human. We need to ask Jesus to guide our emotions. “Jesus wept” (John 11:35) His friend was dead, and he mourned. How can one weep without having emotions? If Jesus did, so should we. We are humans, not AI.

I like you and normally agree with most things you say but this time you're just flat-out wrong because I hate my emotions but I can't deny them or they will run roughshod over me and it is not about me I don't get emotional about me at all in fact all my strongest emotions exclusively about others primarily others being done wrong is this just a nature of an advocate (it's an infj thing you would likely never understand) and I have no agenda of my own that doesn't include everyone else and their long-term well-being and if you knew anything about me that all you would know I will always speak the truth as I understand it to the best of my ability even if it's going to harm me or my reputation in doing so because there are some truth-tellers out there who absolutely must be truthful always and just can't seem to help ourselves

@@reasonwarrior understand what you saying but he also said emotional people are evil and it's simply not true that people like Adolf Hitler are evil and there's a lot of daylight between the two no I'll give you stupid and weak-minded and all kinds of other concessions about people because personally I can't stand them for the most part but evil is way too strong of a word to describe people who can't control their emotions but take that however you like it's coming from an atheist so evils typically not in my vocabulary but by those standards BLM antifa everyone who gets bent and over reacts anytime a black man is killed by white cop or some triggered libtards can't accept the results of an election and act deranged for four straight years which would make them all evil now wouldn't it
