I actually love how this one has enough "empty" sound to where it can hold meaning we put into it (if that makes sense) compared to other lofi sound tracks where they try to fill up all the music as best they can. Like, don't get me wrong, it sounds nice every now and again, but this one is like a breath of fresh air after being in a dusty basement

I don't know if I can help but I know exactly how you feel. I've lost myself some time ago but the pain of it comes only now. Where I was myself my memories seem so bright like a sunny day, then after some shit happened my memories are blurry and now it's like I've woken up from a nightmare but I've forgotten how I ended up here, how I ended up losing myself. Idk why and how you lost yourself but maybe try to remember everything you liked about yourself in the past and the things that make you feel like you. Then try to implement those things back into your life. But I think that we ourselves decide who we want to be. Just because we changed doesn't mean that we are untrue to ourselves. Imagine the greatest version of Yourself that you would feel the most comfortable with and try to become that. Still, I know that this feeling sucks and doesn't go away that easily...

A small chuckle is all that could leave my mouth right now. It's useless to think that life is over and that there is nothing left. I like how I just sit here and stare at an empty screen, trying to look for an escape while not doing anything. Is this what it feels like to be empty? No taste, no will, no motivation, saying it's okay, accepting faillure, trying to escape reality with useless thoughts. Funny, ain't it? So this is what it feels like to be sucked in to an never-ending dark hole. No negativity, no positivity, no sadness, no happiness. Just a dark, numb feeling.

So its not like your gonna die is it. Might as well live your life to the fullest. otherwise in 10 or 20 years you'll have lost yourself. I've been there and still working on myself as well. I feel like its common to feel this way in this generation. Its not too late. Try to make things better now. Find what you like. What inspires you, what makes you happy and hold on to it and try to surround yourself with it. Nothing will get better until you try and make the first move yourself. Its not gonna be easy but if you truly want release you will keep trying and things will get better. That's how the world works. Sorry to break it down so straightforwardly to you but its the raw truth. If your lazy and don't wanna do anything ,nothing will change. Change will need to start from you.

@@hayleykim6774 The world is so confusing to me. There is alot of things that I like.. Too many things if you ask me. I am scared of letting some things go, and holding on to some things. Am I making the right choice? What is the right choice? Is there a right choice?... Just imagine yourself in outer space. The strings attached to your middle are the things that keep you from drifting away. You have to choose one string at the end of the day, to continue a cycle that is called a day.. A choice that could either let you continue, or drift you off in to the eternity that is called the universe. It's hard indeed to continue when you are lost. The fearless me became more timid at the thought of all the bad outcomes. But I don't have the thought of letting go yet, not when there are still so many things that I like. But still, thank you for your advice. I hope you'll get through those hard times too.

In the hustle and bustle of life, I lost myself - caught up in a dream life I thought I wanted. Now I can't remember who I was, who I wanted to be. A part of me is disgusted at the person I became trying to be what everyone wanted me to be. I tried to hard to be loved, to be seen, to be the friend, daughter, girlfriend, that everyone wanted. Now I feel like I don't have anything, anyone, not even myself. I look in the mirror and see a stranger. I just feel so numb to it all. But right now? I don't feel numb. I forgot how much music can make me feel emotions that I feel so devoid of in the "real world". Right now I'm reminding myself that it's okay to get lost in music, to get lost in thought. There's no one to judge here, no one to disappoint, no one to lose. Right here is the only place that feels like home, like a warm hug at the end of a seemingly endless day. Right here, right now it's just me and the music; it's the only thing that can make me feel anything anymore. I may have forgotten myself, but I won't ever forget that music is my escape.

I saw the last moments of my best friend, a friend that I had loved more than I had loved myself. It was awful to see her go like that. Suicide, and she decided to send her regards to me. She was a friend that had helped me through depression multiple times, if there is anything that is stronger than love, its guilt... The guilt of not being there for her in her final hardship. I did not even get to say goodbye, it was all to sudden. Her final words were, "Thanks for being a good friend, please don't turn out how I did." The sight of seeing tears run down her face with the same smug grin she showed me every time I did something funny or stupid. The grin was fake, she didn't want to smile, it was awful. I assumed she is dead because she never showed a sign of her well being after I asked if she was okay and what was going on. It felt like the world was pulling a sick joke on me. Well fast forward a day. I saw she was pronounced dead of suicide after I looked her up in the news for the state she was in. That moment I felt the most dread I had every felt, it wasn't only dread though. A sprinkle of memories and sadness, the cherry on top was the memory of her last words. I had always thought I had it worse than the average person, now I'm sure I do. She had it worse than me, but I thought to myself, "I was always here for you, why didn't you come to me this time as you normally would. We could have through this together as we always had for the past 3 years. The years we spent together were only bearable because SHE was there. Afterwards I felt like a husk, not believing she was dead even though I knew she was. I could only imagine what was going through her mind, then I started to doubt myself, saying that , " I wasn't good enough." I wish to believe that I was but I can't or she would have come to me, now I feel broken, seeing my first and true love leaving. Her last words still run through my mind, im still trying to get a hold of myself, I'm only still moving forward because her wishes told me so, something told me that I absolutly had to follow those last words. And here I am today sharing this for all of you, funny isn't it?

Something almost identical happened to me. It’s been 8 years since he took his life. What’s crazy is it hurt so bad I think I had a massive dmt release that got me started on a spiritual awakening. Buddha says enlightenment means the end of suffering. Hard to imagine how that could ever be possible, but I’m seeing it more and more. I never used to believe that the black whole in the middle of my chest and the chronic depression and suicidal thoughts could ever turn into a white sun in the center of my heart and so much happiness and presence at the beauty of everything. When you realise you’re just the second choice from the people who you think you’re close to by them making lame excuses to ditch you. - From the people who are so called “friends” - They just staying with you to kill time - Realising that they were never there for you but you’re always there for them At the end of the day you never really had friends, they were just people passing by to kill time while you were building up your trust and emotional towards them as a friend and and someone you value 🖤 You were just alone this whole time 🖤💔 it really hurts coz when you realised it, all you feel is empty🖤

I pray that you know that YOU are SO LOVED by the one whi created YOU, you are more loved than you can imagine, and if you have a similar journey in this life you might try to love all the wrong people, places, things, when the true love you have been looking for is our Jesus, is Our Heavenly Father. I am 32 and just now receiving the LOVE that is above all, allowing it to penetrate every part of me to fill me and cover me, with a love that can never be taken away, which has also shown me how to love myself, so I can love others. It is the best love, the best gift, and I pray that you know the power of the name and the BLOOD of our Jesus, the devil likes to make us feel unloved, but he cannot make us do anything. This thing, the enemy, and spiritual warfare, has been going on, and is more real than anyone truly can fully fathom, unless GOD allows your eyes and ears to be opened. All you have to do is ask. Anyway, used to be suicidial, hated myself, drug addict, deemed my self unlovable, worthless, wouldn't amount to anything, those are all lies, and if you are looking for love outside of yourself, the only way is to know that they love Jesus just as much as you, that's the truth. Because you know they receive the Divine. And you both love the LORD your GOD, with all your heart, all your mind, all your soul, and until then you keep doing you, I'm telling ya I disconnected just to saturate in the Ultimate Gifted LOVE. Never felt more okay, stable, being by myself, even though a part of me yearned for another, I had to yearn for GOD, our JESUS, and myself first, before I could share the pure LOVE. I love this music, it helps me with my drawing, but at the same time i feel sad, lonely, like if everyone of my friends forgot about me, i feel dumb and stupid and useless, i try to be happy all the time but i just cant sometimes... Drawing is the only thing that helps me forget about all the darkness. I just hope i get better soon, and if you guys feel the same thing as me, i hope u get better too sooner. welcome to rants with squaggy :) i was listening to these song and it made me remember this one time when i was playing competitive in Overwatch and my team was doing really bad. i was playing mercy and there was this one dude who had a mic and i cant exactly remember what he said but i remember it was something along the lines of “you keep doing you mercy you are goated” and it just made me feel really happy and i had wish i friended that guy. we ended up clutching the win and turns out a few other people on my team had mics but chose not to turn them on but they were all really cool. if you read this thanks for coming to my little rant / story time :)
