It's really refreshing to see how down to earth he is in this. It appears he hasn't let any of this go to his head. That's great.

after watching Thor 2, I highly doubt this is the last we've seen of Loki. The movie ended on such a cliffhanger and it did well at the box office, so it'd be pretty dumb if they didn't make a third Thor movie. I for one REALLY need to see what happens next between Thor and Loki...like, REALLY BADLY.

I agree it is a good idea that Loki is not in Avengers 2 - but ONLY if Loki is coming back in a future movie. "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" - thus, when they bring him back, he will be more popular than ever! Its a great marketing ploy if nothing else! And ending Thor 2 they way they did, they pretty much have to bring Loki back if they make a Thor 3; I can hardly wait! =D

Yeah but Tom, the movie left out the Asgard sauna scene with Thor and Loki. Make sure you include that in Thor 3, okay? Nothing is more Norse than a hot steamy sauna.

I feel like they should have a secret ending at the end of the Avengers that shows Thor going home to Asgard for a visit to find Loki on the throne. I don't say that as a fangirl, but as a person who is extremely curious to see Thor's reaction to Loki as king of Asgard and also curious to see how Loki is doing as king. Especially after seeing how Thor regarded him so highly when talking to who he thought was Odin.

Avengers needs Loki he's juts so interesting. Like he's good but bad he pretends to be on your side but when a new opportunity arises he will betray you. He's juts so complex and I think we need to see more of his character in the MCU

It is a shame he wont be in the avengers. It's very disappointing. But there's rumours of a new Thor, so we haven't seen the end of Loki just yet.

This interviewer clearly didn't know much about what Tom's 2014 would be did he? He certainly wasn't, "freeing up". He did Coriolanus, then filmed "Crimson Peak", and he's just about to finish "High-Rise", and later in the year he'll be playing Hank Williams in "I Saw the Light".

I'm confused. I thought he had a cameo at least in Avengers 2 and I also thought he was going to be largely in the 3rd Thor? In addition with Gaurdians of the Galaxy couldn't he somehow appear there too? Just so much potential but I thought he'd AT LEAST be in the third Thor...

Missus2112 The cameo was cut from Avengers 2 for the sake of shortening the movie's runtime, but don't worry, he is slated to play a huge role in Thor 3, after all, his character is the catalyst for the Ragnarok storyline in the comics, he is a necessary part. This video is very old.
