+Lashay Davis why is it 'sweet' of him to embrace her? it sounds as if you think he was being kind . Maybe he worships her, adores her, puts her on a pedestal. This woman is not to be pitied. She's an amazing shining light of inspiration to all those people who do not have 'movie star' bodies to stop believing the lies of the media. The TRUTH is that she's gorgeous as her light shines from the inside out. Not everyone finds the same person attractive. I know people who think that Sophia Vagara (wrong spelling i know) looks like a marionette muppet face. I find her beautiful. To each his own. I do applaud these kids for standing up in front of the masses and redefining sexy. It was a great move on the part of the producers.

+Lashay Davis This isn't a pile on just pointing out language matters. They really are good friends and he doesn't think she's beautiful "in spite of her weight" but just beautiful as a women. Meaning he sees her beauty and recognizes the beauty in many body types. Many people desire women shaped exactly like Gabby and ONLY like her. As a big woman I don't want anyone to think I'm beautiful in spite of my weight or for that matter to love me in spite of it. My body is beautiful it is part of me if I'm beautiful so is it.
