This song just brought back so many memories. This was the time i was playing Fifa 14 in summer, everyone was happy and going outside to play football was something casual. There was no stress, no work, no responsibilities… Now I realize how great my childhood was and i feel so sad that i can never bring those days back. And listening to this is so nostalgic. It was early 2010s, I had just graduated from high school. Life was carefree. This song used to play on FIFA then - I remember listening to it while playing in the practice arena within the game. The arena had a beautiful open-sky setting, and I loved playing in it - it felt like home to me, having spent many hours into the game. I had never been to the UK until then, but I imagined how exciting it would be to live there, knowing how beautiful some places are over there, and I'd be closer to actual football and its fans. Now grown up, in 2019, I found myself attending a United vs Liverpool match in the UK while I was in Europe for an exchange semester for my Masters degree. Went out to a club at night in London with buds - the scene was lit. Everyone was drunk - later in the closing hours of the night, this song came up; it seemed as if almost everyone knew this song and they all started singing along. I sang along with them too - bonding with my buds AND some random strangers over this piece of music. Once we left the club later, very drunk but ecstatic, I felt like a kid again. Roaming around London streets at night, I revisited that feeling I had while playing FIFA years ago, imagining how cool it would be to do so. Years later, I had manifested that feeling - loved every minute cause it made me feel so alive, so alive.

I like to think that it can also be a something-whatever it is that makes you feel you alive. You can create music or climb mountains or feed the homeless or be the best basketball player in the world or draw small sketches of people in your diary that you'll never show to anyone or become a politician or retire and live on a small boat on your own eating fish all day-you should just find this thing for you, what makes you feel alive. At least that's how I see it.

This song hits hard for me playing FIFA 14 and listening to it was the best and one of my favorite childhood memories but it also means a lot to me since it was a song that my grandfather used to listen to too much about 9 years ago unfortunately he died from cancer My father doesn't enjoy listening to this song because he says it reminds him a lot of grandfather and I understand that, but I like to listen to it because it makes me think about him and my childhood many times.
