Thanks for your thoughts about this new idea. Me and some of the members of the alliance I'm in have a similar opinion. If anyone has the first epic troops which didn't have the mana bonus that would be a good idea to level them up a little and then convert them. Apart from that it would be just stupid to lose the mana bonus. Let's not forget that the stats are important but the game is often won by those who use specials first.

Cheers Mike. Glad u enjoyed the vid with the now lowered cost u shouldn't struggle to be competitive. There are definitely tiers to the game and it will always be the way of the devs to make u feel like ur falling behind... just remember that we are all in the same boat 🥂😅🍻

If you happen to have some crit troops at a reasonably high level (17/18 would be good, but even 11 is doable) you can "speed level" them over a month then convert them the next time conversion is available. Then its a gain in mana.

True this is a smarter way to level them and looses less I like em for defense and have a few higher level crit troops to spare so I think this will be my strategy as well. Thanks m8 👍👍

I leveled a troop. Finally a reason to use all those bags of iron I've had. I like the troop. Sure you lose some speed, but you are so much tougher. You can actually survive against all the 300 or 400% hits. I have been having issues where I rush to set off my attackers, and then it's dodged, or the fighter comes back to life, or whatever. Now I'm sitting there damaged and ready to be killed by pretty much any attack. With an extra 200% defense and an extra 800 health, I have a good chance to survive, and come back.

Congrats I think they will have their uses 4 sure and I'm excited for them for the same reasons. Thanks for sharing and I bet those stat boosts really help. Overall i like them better for defense but for attack i still give the edge to Magic troops... 4 now

Has been cash always will be cash unfortunately but as long as u still find it a fun challenge and a good time waster most of the player base are still FTP or VC2p so we'll still have our niche ;?)

Well, that's another way to get cash because people will most likely pull those from the portals instead of losing their mana troops.

I guess they work for say fast and very fast heroes .. keep the good mana heroes for now

I dont think i will because i only have 2 lvl 30 and theyre wiz troops dont want to give up the mana gen. All my 30 will be wiz troops stopped leveling basic troops long ago. Maybe if i had a bunch i would. Im excited to listen to your thoughts. Part of me thinks theyre trying to get rid of that 20% mana boost....

I feel woefully uneducated on my troops, so this video has been helpful. Upon reviewing my existing lvl 26+ troops, I’ve noticed I have two that show no Mana bonus, but instead critical chance. For example, the Dark Reanimated Master Knights. Given this, would you convert those troops?

Hey Mike glad you found the video helpful and yes I would recommend converting the crit troops. I would keep at least one maybe 2 magic troops if you have them and convert the rest when you are able. 👍😉 Tbh I probably need to make another more in depth video on troops at some point they really are important.

I have a question if i convert my lvl 30 troop for example. Will my troop lose power ? Until I fully level the converted troop or the lvl 30 troop converted will be already powerful from the start?

Yes the troop will loose power. Though the Legendary troops are pretty good from the start and they use Iron rather than ham for feeders. They level pretty quickly though so I wouldn't let that put u off ;?)

@@McNaultyYT one more question my current team power is 5700 with all colour troops lvl 30 in the team, if I for example let's say convert the green troop will my team power go down or go up?

@@Soviet1983 I can't remember exactly how much but when I did the purple one of the same class for Ludwig a while back I think it goes down slightly but by lvl 4 or 5 it was already right back up there and now we'll beyond. With 1 legendary troop my def tp is around 6300

Yep strange how time changes things agreed sadly the lego troops are a priority 😕 but still the mana break points are neglected strangely. Until we get on to LVL 50 Legendary troops.

They are still there! They are just not avialbe for this "Legendary Troop Summons".Once this summons is over, you will see your epic troop summons tokens "return" for the epic trroop summons portal.

They aren't deleted. Just check your Inventory, under the Utility. They should still be there. You don't see them on the new portal because this one will have different kind of tokens. Hope this helps.

Ok so the beta testers had s big advantage. They were testing this for months they knew to save all there troops tell now do they get 2 times the leveling up a troop . Also they knew to pull for new hero Satori blue average speed paladin. New he gets the emblem power 2 percent mana speed registration so he hits the 13 percent mana regeneration with the new 5 star troops he also has paladin class feature to tske 25 percentage less damage from everything . He is functionaly get mana as fast as a fast speed hero . Pluss he is like the black knight and reduces damage to him and nearby hrros . I cpuld go on but ok i will . At tank he will have 40 percent more hitpoints. So a major unfair advantage if you were in beta

Hahahaha Great insights as usual and yep I think the gap between the haves and the have nots could be significantly widened.. oh well. We will still find ways to njoy ourselves I'm sure 😅

Is the 11% mana such an issue though? I always pick the mana node on the talent grid (even if it's "only" the normal 2% one) and then you're allready fine again for the average mana speed heroes.

True they should do ok for most heroes but there are some exceptions to the rule and 11% vs 20% is a very big drop on Attack. On Defense it doesn't make as much of a difference because the heroes charge differently on Defense. So I would say Yes on Attack but No on Defense. For the moment that's where these troops shine the most. ... And with minion summoners that Hp boost makes for some mega boosts in minion HP also.

@@McNaultyYT I agree. But on defense you must also consider the better survivability of the new 5* troops. 9% less mana is noticable - but if your hero is significantly more tanky and survives longer, he will fire nevertheless! IMHO the better stats do somewhat compensate the loss in managen

Congrats 🎉🎉 Good idea to start off with the tank 👍Flank and especially wing might still be better off with a 20% mana troop
