Welcome aboard! At long last, the remake of our viral hit, 'Who's Sinking Your Boat?'.
When we launched our original in 2013, Gallup claimed that approximately 7 out of 10 employees are disengaged. In spite of billions being spent on engagement initiatives, we have only managed minor gains. As in the original, this remake will define engagement and make a business case for engagement BUT will also provide a 'call to action' by introducing 8 key focus areas organizations need to focus on to keep employees 'afloat'.

Very good information. It is true that there is a significant difference between engagement and satisfaction. An engaged employee is always productive despite the challenges and failures.

@@db3sriskitornot540 But that's all work ultimately is. Getting as much money out of your boss as possible or getting as much money out of your employees as possible. It's an adversarial relationship by its very nature. If I won the lottery or saved up enough money or got a big fat inheritance, why would I go to work?

When your employers turn into dictators they shouldn't expect anything less than total disengagement. You reap what you sow. Our boat is the Tintanic II and has already crashed into an iceberg and is sinking fast.
