A question that often arises among employees is how much of their employment service history is available to their employer? What details linked to the UAN or Aadhaar number is available to the employer? Can the employer see all the past service records? If the current employer does not get access to the UAN then can he generate a new UAN? Information Technology in INDIA Sucks big time. We are world top IT country but what a shame we have shitty IT in Government. Reason is the Indian Govt does not cares about the importance of Fundamentals of IT. All schemes are launched just to fool people and LURE vote banks. Why there is no law against the privacy of employer details.... There are many things which happen and employee doesn't want to continue due to different reasons and now it will haunt him forever just because he left or chose not to get harrased anymore??

My new employer is taking me in as a fresher but I have been working in an MNC since last 2 months and I'm absconding because they're forcing me to do 3 months notice period. My new employer is an MNC too and is completely okay with me being fresher. But what he they finds out I already worked in some other MNC for 2 months before and there is no exit date on the service history due to absconding. Will I be terminated?

Yes. These EPFO babus don't really care about maintaining privacy of employees. And I keep on seeing answers on Quora saying that companies use UAN for PF contributions only. Well, if the UAN is meant for this purpose only, why is there an option in the EPFO Employers Portal to check Member Service Details using UAN?

Thanks for the information but sometimes its really helpful to the workers does not know about their pf. Like when a worker left from the company and joins the new one the Doe is not entered by the previous employer. The the new one can check and tell the worker to make sure that the doe should be entered otherwise your pf will not transferred.

Bhala ho Labour Law Advisor ka, ki inn logon ne ye video bna di. Isse dekhne ke baad meri galatfehmi door ho gyi h. Mai iss galatfehmi me tha, ki agar mai apna UAN number nhi dunga, aur Aadhaar de du, toh fir new company/employer ko pta hi nhi chal paayega about UAN number.

If your employer is able to generate a new UAN using your Aadhaar, it means that you never worked before in any organization, even for a month

Exactly yrr. I resigned from a company, bcoz of personal reasons, after serving 1 month and 24 days. My plan was to apply for a new job as a fresher, and that I'd not mention my UAN to the new organisation. But then, now that I've watched this video, my plan has gone down the drain.

After cooling off, and exploring new options, I wanted to apply as a fresher for a different job, in a different company. In other words, I wanted to stick to my narrative, that I was a fresher,having no work experience whatsoever. But unfortunately, I have a UAN linked to my Aadhar. And if I don't find ways to either deactivate UAN, or to delink UAN from Aadhar, ( so that the EPFO employers portal doesn't show the error,that a UAN is already linked to my Aadhar) my narrative will be spoiled by this, because, first of all, a fresher is someone who has no work experience prior to joining the organisation, therefore, no UAN. And even if I apply for a new job, clear the interview and assessments, and receive offer letter, I would have to provide my Aadhar and PAN details, along with other documents to that organisation. I submit my Aadhar, PAN, my marksheets, nominee details for PF account, but not my UAN. In that case, the organization would try to register me on that employers' portal, and if they enter my Aadhar details, and click 'Submit', they will get this error message, saying that my UAN is already linked to my Aadhar, which means, that my employer may either fire me, or demand an explanation from me, regarding this, and I'd feel very uncomfortable answering questions about my previous employer.

Should I get the list of Service history for the companies I have worked for when UAN was not there. Actually, I see the current and latest previous only. Except my current job, I have worked for 3 more companies. I have transferred the EPS from 1st and 2nd company to 3rd Company when UAN was not in place. Now, on UAN portal I see only 2 companies service details i.e., 3rd and 4th (current). Please help me to sort it out.

CGI rejected job, huge huge huge level frustation when i got back with one exp letter that showed up in uan.. I was crying out of frustation. Bcos i managed to get the uan exp letter. Located to hometown in novemebr as i couldn't bear cost of living and not getting jobs. Again and again attended cgi still they woildnt get back with bgv email, doc submissiom. 😭 Now same hassle with emphasis today also salary is half ctc than previous, god doesnt exist

Sir I NEED your help. When i clicked 'Know your UAN' and entered Aadhar details, it shows no UAN found, while i entered Pan details, it shows my UAN number. Hi - I just switched to a new company and I have given my current UAN number in new company. But without my knowledge new company created new UAN number and when I asked they said that my old UAN number was unable to be located by Adhar number. So they created new one. SAGE TEC. LEARN After KYC update take a screen shot and mail it to your HR dept requesting for update and visit nearest EPF office with the details of your mail and online update if there is no response from your HR and ask the same in EPF office. hope it will help.

So this works like when you joined a company and your employer create one member id for you than employer can see your employer history its not work like as shown in video that if somehow you get any UAN no of some one else not belongs to same employer and employer can see history no no way the employee should register with the employer first .... The first employer have allotted UAN. This is activated by me. How to create new password to get details based on UAN number. The subsequent employers have allotted a new UAN which is continuing till today. How a new UAN is allotted when old one is present ? The outsourced agency has seperate series of UAN ?

Hi brother, I have one doubt, I've work experience from 2019 to till now. I have all the proper experience relieving letter for these 5 years, but in 2017 after finishing the college I did two jobs for my survival, I didn't even have the knowledge or aware of leaving proper. Now the all the companies are using EPFO bgv in that service history those two jobs are visible. I've requested those companies they're not even responding because I didn't work more minimum 6 months. Whats can be done any solution advise will be helpful brother😢

@@Secular_Indian epfo became a portal in which employers can blackmail employees, in past if you have bad mouthed your manager or HR for wrong practises, new employer take feedback from previous employer and he will destroy employee career, This employer getting immense power because of this PF portal. Government of India digging grave for IT employees.

Sir, I have my UAN already linked to my AADHAAR. Then why is my new employer asking for my AADHAAR number to link my new PF-account number with my UAN. Is'nt it enough that I give only my UAN number to my new employer, or should I give both (UAN and AADHAAR Number)...? Could you please guide me in this part.

My former employer took my details and made me fill a form for EPF but never gave me a UAN number or anything else. It was my first job. I also did not receive any mails from EPF. I tried checking for my UAN against my aadhar and pan number, it shows there is no record. How can i know if they actually create my EPF account or not?
