When we see suffering we all want to do something about it, and many of us are called to the path of service in our communities. And we all need support to persevere and sustain our commitment to help others and to keep ourselves strong. Lion's Roar is offering a Good Will and Service program called The Delek Program as a pathway into service to others as well as support to ourselves.
On Sunday March 24 Susan Farrar outlined Lama's vision for the program which includes monthly gatherings for support, helpful texts for guidance including Shantideva's Bodhisattva's Way of Life, and planned guest speakers. Your ideas, comments and concerns are important as we form this new program because each of us, really, is a Delek and all are welcome to participate.

He is one of the few western lamas thus far recognized within the Gelugpa lineage of Tibetan or Vajrayana Buddhism, the lineage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
